Peace talks on the Ukraine

Russia: Four oblasts, neutrality, and freedom for the Russian minority in the Ukraine.

The Ukraine: What? That is worse than Istanbul Two.

Russia. Next time it will be eight oblasts.

The difference between Istanbul Two and now is that the Ukrainian offensive failed, and the Ukrainian army is rapidly shrinking while the Russian army is growing. If it continues to shrink, in a little while, will be eight oblasts.

Russia: “Next time it will be eight oblasts.”

Did you get that from VD, or upstream of him?

Jim says:

who is VD?

The Ukrainian rendering of this conversation is “Next time it will be five oblasts”.

However the Russian rendering of this conversation was “Next time it will be eight oblasts.”

Which is more accurate, probably no one quite remembers, but the Ukrainians have an incentive to exaggerate current Russian demands, and minimise the prospect that Russia will escalate their demands as the war continues to its conclusion, while the Russians have an incentive to exaggerate the likelihood that they will escalate their demands as the war continues to its conclusion.

But obviously Russia will escalate its demands as full military victory looms closer, and the likely cost of rendering rump Ukraine an empty desolate wilderness diminishes.

People are talking escalated sanctions, but we are drifting into a dollar crisis, as SWIFT loses its grip. Trump wants to rescue SWIFT from its self inflicted injuries. Escalating sanctions will escalate the dollar crisis.

The sanction that would be effective is military action against Russian shadow fleet oil tankers. But once great power conflict escalates to shutting down each other’s sea transport, America is more vulnerable because it has greater dependency on sea.

Maybe attacks on russian oil ships would get no response, yet another red line crossed, and nothing happens. A lot of Russian red lines have been crossed, and nothing happened. Until it did.

The chap who Neurotoxin is not inordinately fond of

Neurotoxin says:

Truly, he has had some good insights. But since 2020 he’s gotten so loopy in some ways.

Your takedown of him was hilarious. He’s entitled to be wrong now and then, ofcourse. What I found most dismaying about him was his obsession with a non-entity like Neil Gaiman, even if it is glee at Gaiman’s humiliation, even if Gaiman tried to ruin Vox’s life. That somehow lowered my esteem for Vox, however high it may still be.

Just ignore Neil, Vox. When someone asks you about Neil Gaiman, just ask back, Neil who?

Pax Imperialis says:

What purpose do these talks serve for Russia? Anything short of total victory in Ukraine is bound to cause trouble down the road. My guess is that this message is more directed towards EU than anyone else, and especially not (agreement incapable) Ukraine.

To the extent that US involvement in Ukraine has always been a demoKKKrat money laundering machine, all I can continue to say is: Go Vlad! Beat Obama!

Pax Imperialis says:

Men like General William Sherman, Major General Terry Allen, and General George Patton are legends for their extraordinary accomplishments. Why are such men missing from our military leadership today? Where did they go?

Turns out many such men, if not most, eventually catch a legal case. Once that happens, they get ‘rehabilitated’ i.e. put on something like ‘vacation’ for quite a bit of time. Long term effect is that promotions become much harder to obtain, a combination of the loss of work experience from the ‘rehabilitation’ and how negative paperwork is factored in on promotion boards. They tend to not break through the Major bottleneck, and they never survive congressional scrutiny for promotion above Col. That’s if they’re not administratively separated first. All those military legends I used as examples would have been separated early into their careers in today’s military.

The type of man who is effective in combat and leadership, who will close with and destroy the enemy, is to HR’s ire, an aggressive, some might say ‘colorful’ and disagreeable man. The type of man who will say it as it is because he is conscious of the reality and what has to be done. The complete opposite of the smooth talking, inoffensive, visionless, PR obsessed, bureaucrat progressive civil society desires. Result is a plethora of ‘leaders’ like General McChrystal.

Bwana Simba says:

This. Alpha men, the lions and bulls of old, cannot stand in nor achieve much in modern society. aAs such, their careers are stalled, or they leave. The strong man of the West is gone, at least for now. God help us all.

Varna says:

Russian demographic statistics have been increasingly secretive since 2020, especially since 2022; this year they stopped publishing births and deaths by oblast – only the overall federal data. With this too, they are very likely juggling and massaging the data no less skillfully than western counterparts, counting the new ukrainian oblasts when it suits them, counting the people in the two georgian oblasts liberated in 2008, with russian passports being handed out to the population, counting births registered in consulates from the enormous russian diaspora, etc.

Belarus has also stopped publishing details of demographic data since 2020, but leaks and extrapolations show that the trend of 10% drop in fertility per year (started around 2017) has continued into 2025. Belarus is a smaller, homogenous country of around 9 mil, so it’s easier to figure things out there than in Russia proper.

Of course, this situation is common in variations across the former Eastern Block. Lithuania has doubled its migrant import of bangladeish, pakis, and sri-lankas this year https://dzen.ru/news/story/1c0a3a43-014d-5968-b84a-6023a31ca86a

The age pyramid isn’t too good anywhere. Shifts can be pretty important over just a few years. The average eastern european joe at 35 and at 40 are two different things, health and stamina-wise. Same for 40 vs 50, 50 vs 55, etc. Around 60+ they start dying off in waves.

Thus far Moscow has managed to find ways to maintain the needed influx of soldiers, to a significant extent by bribing aging provincial gopniks by paying them in a year the equivalent of 10 years of average wages, plus all sorts of additional benefits, and the economy as a whole has adapted to the current situation.

But none of this is forever. Five years from now 40 year ivans will be 45, and 45 year old ivans will be 50. New young ivans are quite far from replacement levels, as is the case across the northern hemisphere, central asia and two indian regions and smaller religious clusters excepted.

The demographic situation is just as dire in China and Iran. Today’s population almost everywhere, and very much so in Russia, Iran, China and Belarus, is a non-renewable resource for the first time in modern history. Today is the peak. Or rather, 2010 – 2020 was the peak, now is early decline, still not so obvious while millions are “middle aged” as opposed to “seniors”. But this shift happens far too quickly.

And again, there is no equivalent number of youngsters appearing to compensate those shifts. This resource is non-renewable. It is being used up in real time, and there is no replacement, except for racial replacement through import.

In a sense, nobody really has the time for endless b.s. A roomful of clocks are ticking away frantically. Whatever has to be resolved, needs to be resolved right now. Which Trump and Musk appear to realize more than anyone.

Mossadnik says:

In a sense, nobody really has the time for endless b.s. A roomful of clocks are ticking away frantically. Whatever has to be resolved, needs to be resolved right now.

Exactly so.

If no pro-reproductive solution in the immediate or near future, then in a few decades all of those countries will just be a hodgepodge of 85-90 IQ brown people from all over the planet, who will likely also fail to reproduce, so will have to bring in 70 IQ blacks from Africa. Thus “Russia” for instance will just be some browns and blacks who may or may not speak the Russian language. Even if the native population won’t be all savagely executed and stirred in a pot yum yum, it will simply no longer exist, and so high civilization ends.

You solve the problem or you disappear.

Anon says:

“Today’s population almost everywhere, and very much so in Russia, Iran, China and Belarus, is a non-renewable resource for the first time in modern history.”

The thing that get me , I have a sneaking suspicion that the statistics are math magic , someone somewhere are calculating these number out of thin air . Are there actually 7-8 billion people in the planet, maybe 50-40 years ago. I can’t believe that the decline everywhere in competence has not affected statistics.
Most of the videos of wars and soldiers in these past 5 to 10 years , I noticed a small in number and aged armies , Russia vs Ukraine, med east war, and now paki vs India. compare to ww2 or even 90s war.

Also all the spirits are gone from these war,
High tech (rocket, drone base) Iran, Israel, Yemen and India vs paki. there was no spirit and no stomach , on either sides. It show that it old men war.

People are not counting how exactly you are gonna wage war when the majority are geriatric.
Ironically as the population age, war become rarer as no energy for fights.

Varna says:

Yeah, like in the Powerpuff Girl classic episode where a very old Ministry of Pain crew fights an equally aged Captain Righteous and his sidekick Lefty.

The Ukrainian frontline. At some parts fit pros duke it out with other fit pros, but in lots of other places, where you “just hold the line” while big events are happening elsewhere, one can imagine violently mobilized ukrainian guys with dad bods, lower back pain, fatty liver, crap knees, and the ability to sprint for 30 seconds before needing to lie down and cough for a while, on the other side volunteer gopniks with dysfunctional kidneys and advanced teeth loss, also incapable of sprinting without needing to lie down and cough, all hunkering down and hoping they survive their stint. And when they do meet in battle one on one or platoon on platoon it must a tragic and depressing sight.

Math magic works both ways. Like in 2023 it turned out that Papua New Guinea accidently the census, and their real population is double the official number. Also the real numbers of imported diversity in the US are not available, nor, for that matter, are crime statistic and economic statistics impeccable. Nor, of course, ethnic composition statistics, anal activity statistics, pharma injury statistics, etc.

Statistics in old-school continental empires like China and Russia get massaged first at the periphery, where every mayor wants to impress the governor, and then the governor wants to impress the center, and then in the center everybody wants to impress the king how wonderfully their particular chunk of the blob works.

So sometimes, like just happened recently in China, someone at the top gets a hunch that wool is being pulled over his eyes, and orders a strict double-check of the demographic data, and gets the data, and yells “fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu….” and then has to sharply revise fertility downward and suddenly it turns out your births are already worse than in bloody Japan, while according to the models you still had a decade or two of leeway. And so you start frantically fiddling with divorce laws, state natal bonuses, etc.

Who would have thought that in the 21st century data would be just as inaccurate, and at times even more inaccurate, than in the 20th century.

And we *still* don’t really know what the spike shots did to fertility, longevity, and overall health. And how can we know. When there’s no decent baseline of trustworthy data to compare it all to. When everything is constantly making things up in the name of the science, what do you compare with what. We’re back to anecdotal evidence, and citizens cooperating and sharing experiences with each other in the hopes of constructing some sort of coherent picture.

Mossadnik says:

The paradigm shift that the entire world needs to undergo is that we’re not living in the “End of History.” Just the opposite – we are at the very cusp of its most incipient beginning. A shift in time perspective, too: Ancient Egypt? That was like three days ago. Christ and the Apostles? Two days. The Renaissance? A few hours. That’s the correct view of human affairs.

And then, as one imagines the future (which everyone should be doing far, far more often), it might suddenly occur that — with all due respect to recent advances in technology, which are also stagnating — you actually need (high quality) humans to keep civilization going. Which means having the social conditions, aka social technology, that would allow human flourishing. That social technology can only be derived from Reaity, that is, from time-tested empirical trial-and-error; which fortunately and naturally has been bequeathed to us by former human generations, those humans who did in fact keep with Divine Law and from whom we are descended, in the form of Tradition.

Zechariah 1:3 (cf. Malachi 3:7):

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

The false prophets — who seem to possess some of the same DNA as the original false prophets mentioned in the Bible — promise you that humans are just about to become redundant, replaced by super-duper sophisticated robots; which is wishful thinking on their part, in more than one sense – it’s delusion combined with a latent desire to see humans removed from the cosmic picture. Psychologically, they seek to flee away from God-made reality into self-made fantasy, and perceive intrusion from the Real as some kind of horrible, oppressive affront on their sense of ego, or Pride; in other words they are faggots, metaphorically if not literally. Hence also their instinctive allergy to heterosexuality, marriage, monogamy, and reproduction.

There is no progress against the Tao, only with the Tao; otherwise it’s regression dressed as progress, perhaps convincingly at first, and then rapidly it becomes like a bearded dude in a blonde wig and a skirt calling himself “Emily.” Or as Yarvin put it, “Progress for the tick is no progress for the dog.”

Turn ye unto Him, and He will turn unto you.

Varna says:

> There is no progress against the Tao, only with the Tao

Absolutely. Flight from empirical reality is flight from the Creator’s wonders. It is disrespect and can only bring ruin. It’s one thing to enjoy the occasional daydream or a flight of fancy, another thing to turn your back on reality as such, because “your version is better”. Sooner or later the flood comes to wash away your sins and your babylon towers collapse and the survivors are back to scratching the ground with twigs and sacrificing babies to crudely hewn idols.

Mossadnik says:

Yep. The Babylon-builders, the deceived who are also deceivers, believe that they’re going to become Gods, or in its modern version, be replaced by God-like robots; in fact they will be replaced by niggers — be they nominally Christian, Mohammedan, or plain ol’ oogy boogy Voodooists — which replacement is likely to look very much like “Death Metal lyrics IRL.” Due to the long peace, they probably won’t believe it until the machete-slashed limbs actually start flying in the air and grandma is baked in the oven, which eventualities will transpire. Such are the inevitable consequences of reproductive failure among the higher races. There is no escaping Reality.

Varna says:

Reality being real is not some exquisite philosophical conundrum. The conundrums are beyond that, in the realms beyond the mortal human world. Within the mortal human world reality is simple.

If you do not respect reality, your planes don’t fly, your trains derail, your factories blow up, your buildings fall down, and your institutions don’t work. On a personal level, if you respect reality, your health is as good as it can be. If you disrespect reality, you’re constantly ill and out of shape.

If you respect reality, you win wars, or lose them in the least painful way possible. You organize your life in such a way that unavoidable bad things cause you the least possible destruction, and the avoidable bad things are avoided.

If you respect reality, your society thrives. If you disrespect reality, your society decays and sometimes even collapses.

Re Disney: if you respect reality, your production system works in ways that produce beloved and highly successful products. If no – then no.

If you respect reality, the police work as officers of law and order, streets are safe, if you do not – they become enforcers of bizarre delusions, while the streets turn into decaying battle zones.

If you respect reality, when the big fire comes – you’re ready. All the water is in place, all the hydrants work, the trucks are enough and in solid working conditions, the firemen are enough and are top notch, the fire causes the least possible damage. If your system instead disrespects reality, the fire arrives and the response and preparation suck on every level, and nature punishes you severely for your arrogance.

When things work the best they possible can working with what you have, and problems cause you the least possible pain they can, you are in close alignment with reality’s mechanics. It is an unfortunate trait of humanity to constantly fall into delusion, and as things gradually stop working well, then stop working at all, there is a proportionate embrace of substitute symbolic values and virtues, and this is where abstraction comes in.

Like a decadent priestly class on some island forcing the wretched natives to destroy their environment in order to build numerous statues on the shore so that fishing stocks return. Fishing stocks return if you strategically rotate where you fish. Crops grow not if you sacrifice babies, but if you rotate the crops and fertilize the soil, etc.

The moment a society chooses the route of stone idols to deal with overfishing, and sacrifice to deal with soil depletion, this means they have gone deep into a cycle of delusion, almost all contact with reality is broken, except the most basic ones of not walking off cliffs, and once this point is reached, implosion of some sort can happen at any moment.

Competent stewardship of the environment, ensuring it is neither poisoned nor ravaged, is following reality. Poisoning it and ravaging it while concentrating on selling and buying carbon emission stocks and theatrically protesting about the weather is Aztec levels of delusion.
This specific civilization has invented constant drugging of its population, to fill up the growing void between reality and illusion. These days they drug them from the cradle to the grave.

Dysfunctional abstractions always lead to human death and suffering. When an enshrined abstraction consistently leads to death and suffering, it is a demon that is being appeased by human sacrifice. In theory, even the “diversity” thing could have worked in some shape or form, if reality had been followed. Since it was not followed, and was in fact actively suppressed, while being substituted by an abstraction, all the deaths and suffering that constantly accompany it are a marker that what is happening is demon worship.

A “diversity” that follows reality would be an approach to issues X that produces results Y at a minimal cost. A “diversity” that instead depends on lies and censorship and generates constant suffering, is obviously a process in the sphere of demonology, where the fake reality is maintained by constant human sacrifice.

Following reality means the best possible results are achieved through the least needless pain, and there is no need to maintain a hidden machinery of constant death and suffering to appease some demon hiding behind an abstraction.

Covid was demon worship in its full globohomo glory. Child trannies are demon worship in its full globohomo glory. Pretending feral savages on the streets are not a problem is demon worship. Ukrainians being fed into the grinder in the name of cosmic justice is demon worship. Punishment for attempting to simply name and describe certain obvious problems is demon worship.

@Varna- I’m not trolling. My question was valid, and you are attempting to cope for your lack of an answer.

> Re Disney: if you respect reality, your production system works in ways that produce beloved and highly successful products. If no – then no.

It’s not about whether the System produces a Product that is Successful.
It’s about whether the film constitutes true art, and what relation that has to how closely it adheres to Gnon’s reality.
Most people, even culturally sane ones, would prefer to see “reality” filtered through humanity’s imagination, rather than raw Gnon-reality. For example, they prefer cartoon Lion King (with animals redesigned to our liking) instead of realistic Lion King (with Gnon’s gritty, realistic animals). Why is it more artistically satisfying when we augment Gnon’s reality with our own hallucinations instead of using it as-is?

> It is an unfortunate trait of humanity to constantly fall into delusion

It’s not unfortunate- it’s the basis of all human progress.
Whenever someone’s mind wanders from our reality into their own head, whenever they imagine a reality better than the one before them, they are having a mini-psychosis, which they can then use to try and shape reality to fit their delusions. Even if their “delusion” is, say, a world where people ride machines instead of horses, or a world where people talk to each other instantly across the globe.
We may be subject to Gnon’s basic laws at all times, but we are not subject to his active will, if he even has one. And if you attribute all of human progress to His greater will, or some such, then you are denying the existence of human free will.

> This specific civilization has invented constant drugging of its population, to fill up the growing void between reality and illusion. These days they drug them from the cradle to the grave.

Obviously, pharmaceutically poinsoning people is bad. That being said, if we give someone with a life-threatening illness drugs to help them survive, or thrive, in direct opposition to Gnon’s death sentence for them, is that bad? Should we try and master life and death, and wrest control away from Gnon, or shouldn’t we?

Jim says:

Movies feature archetypes. You cannot make up anything you want. Archetypes are real, in that they represent something in the world, even not characteristic of actual individual humans.

Thus for example, movie makers would like people to like the girl boss personality, as in Girl Boss Marvel, Girl Boss Hulk, and with the latest catastrophe, Ironheart.

They don’t like it. They don’t because it is false to female nature, even though they wish it was not. If an actual girl actually acts like a girl boss, this is horribly wrong, and they cannot make up an imaginary world in which it is right. And they cannot make up an imaginary world in which gays get “married”, because gay marriage is not. It just makes people nauseous and throws them out of the imaginary world, even if they are totally progressive and cannot imagine why they don’t like the movie because the explanation is a thought crime.

I watched a wokie on Youtube explaining why he did not like “Concord”. He was reaching for explanations that were not thought crimes, but all his explanations were walking in circles around the thought crime he did not know was in him.

The original superman was unrealistic, but all his characteristics were archetypical of social role of men, exaggerated to the ultimate extent. Not a real person, but a real archetype. Miss Marvel attempted to sex swap. Failed catastrophically. Just as God is God the Father, not God the Father and Mother or God the Parent.

Just as the color red is real, being real in a particular cherry, and the number three is real, being real in a particular pile of three sea shells, archetypes are real, even though no actual person can be fully archetypical. The unreal superman was a real archetype, and the unreal Miss Marvel was not.

Animus says:

Whoops, that first sentence was supposed to be @Neurotoxin.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

Any particular expression is a mode of the genera it participates in.

Higher genera in turn imply a range of subsidiary possibilities beyond a given particular expression.

History is full eventualities that people never dreamed of – all the worse for them.

Ability to respect reality means ability to respect it’s possibilities. And more pertinently, what is and is not possible.

Powers tend towards their realization but are not guaranteed to do so; after all, there are plenty of possibilities one may very like to not come to pass; and so pays it to be able to understand the teleological procession of possibilities.

To quibble with Aesop’s fable on grounds that you’ve never heard of a tortoise that can talk is venal spergmaticism; to quibble with The Giving Tree on grounds that the tree is a tree and not the boy’s actual mother is penetrating psychological insight. If you can’t tell the difference, you and yours can’t guarantee success at the game of History, only hope to be saved by wake of a greater, as a bystander too the procession of History.

Alf says:

Movies feature archetypes. You cannot make up anything you want. Archetypes are real.

Yes exactly. The archetypes in the old Lion King were real: Mufasa, the wise father and leader figure. Scar, the envious betrayer and schemer. Simba, the young man who needs to prove himself. They all map onto the real world.

Haven’t seen the new Lion King, but judging from the voice actors – blacks, leftists, black leftists – the story is inevitably some kind of inversion of archetypes, no matter how ‘realistic’ muh cgi is.

Jim says:

> The archetypes in the old Lion King were real: Mufasa, the wise father and leader figure. Scar, the envious betrayer and schemer. Simba, the young man who needs to prove himself

Exactly so, unreal creatures, real archetypes.

Today’s movies fall flat because of unreal archetypes.

the red of a particular cherry is real, and the red of a picture of a cherry is real, even if the cherry is not real, merely a picture. And Mustafa was a real archetype, Miss Marvel an unreal archetype.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

Education Reform types have spent decades of time and millions in capital heroically attempting to figure out ways to edify their master’s two-legged bioweapons beyond the mean.

Sometimes, they manage to rederive working methods that produce superior results to the common process of the child prison system.

And then, when those same methods are applied to the children of their targets… they find that the jump in benefit is even greater than what they got with the bioleninist material.

You imagine surplus capital being turned to benefit degeneracy because you identify with the degeneracy. Much like your masters. And much like your masters, you fain to imagine a world where degeneracy – where yourself – is saved from itself.

But those same interventions applied to more worthy ends produce even greater results.

Subsidizing degeneracy is futile at best; as it all too often happens, it is subsidizing the destruction of the very thing capable of subsidizing it to begin with – the facilitation of degeneracy consumes the facilitator. Such is the irony; your dream is to destroy the very thing your dream rests on.

Our communists call it ‘the rich get richer’ like it is a bad thing. Which is technically true; it just also goes to show they fundamentally have no idea how any of this works.

The best predictor of success is success. ‘The thing itself’ as our Continental friends would say. Of course the sort of people who manage to get to 1 when everything is 0 are also the sort of people who can get to 10 when everything is 1. What use can a pig get out of the pearls cast before it? It is not the sort of thing that can benefit from pearls. The agency – the natural nobility – isn’t there. 3d printing is invented, and the people who benefit most from it are the people who were already in the business of doings things. People who were not in the business of doing things didn’t suddenly start doing things because the ‘barrier to entry’ got lower. Because they never had an idea to begin with. Infinity times zero is still zero.

Put simply, The Lego Movie was a lie. We are not all Master Builders; for most people it’s better to just follow the instructions.

Animus says:

> Just as the color red is real, being real in a particular cherry, and the number three is real, being real in a particular pile of three sea shells, archetypes are real, even though no actual person can be fully archetypical.

The color red is a manmade classification (i.e. archetype) for certain wavelengths of light. The wavelengths exist in our plane, but the classification does not- it is only real in humanity’s collective ideosphere. There is no natural cutoff point that designates red from not-red , there is only our collective subjective judgement.

But, for you guys, the real problem with the supposed real existence of platonic ideals like archetypes or colors is that our reality’s inability to physically contain them implies that our reality is deficient in some way, i.e. not fully real… which contradicts the “reality is real” doctrine.

The belief in platonic forms is really just yet another instance of humanity mistaking our own ideas for God’s ideas, and claiming to know the mind of God, which is something I’ve noticed happens a lot on this blog, as well as insane asylums and cult communities.

Bix Nudelmann says:

but all his explanations were walking in circles around the thought crime he did not know was in him.

This is deep, and doesn’t only apply to “thoughtcrime”. It also applies to “ego-crime”, or whatever it should be called: The conscious comprehension and confession of one’s own damage and/or inferiority. It’s unconscious but is still faintly “in there”, somewhere.

Animus says:

> Put simply, The Lego Movie was a lie. We are not all Master Builders; for most people it’s better to just follow the instructions.

The Lego Movie is a great analogy, and a great film.
Will Ferrell’s character (on both layers of reality) represents the supposed creator god of the desert that puts arbitrary restrictions on our creative potential, and his son is the Faustian spirit who rejects these restrictions, expressing this potential in the Lego universe through the protagonist.
Of course, even the official instructions ultimately sprung from someone’s creativity- real Ferrell can see this easier than Lego Ferrell, but both could realize this with sufficient enlightenment. It is as I’ve been saying: there is no fundamental distinction between God’s creativity, our creativity, or any creativity on any layer of reality. It’s just a matter of degree.

We may not be master builders just yet, but the potential is undeniably there, and we are getting better and better.

Jim says:

> there is no fundamental distinction between God’s creativity, our creativity, or any creativity on any layer of reality.

Nuts

Animus says:

Creativity arises wherever one has the will and the ability to manifest their ideas into reality. The greater than will + ability, the greater the creative potential. The Source of all Creation has the ultimate will + ability, and thus the ultimate creative potential.

Mossadnik says:

So much inane verbosity spilled when the reality is that tolerance of faggotry always inevitably invariably destroys civilizations (hence it’s against God’s will) while the suppression — or, better yet, elimination — of faggotry allows civilization to thrive and prosper and fulfill God’s manifest will. Everyone with eyes to see has long been observing just that.

You Anal Mousse can imagine whatever your diseased mind compels you to imagine, but when you attempt to apply your diseased and satanic imagination to reality, the result is evidently civilizational collapse (people need to be straight in order to successfully reproduce, which indeed most people and animals Naturally are; and society needs to be heteronormative, which indeed all reproductively successful societies are, so that civilization can be long-term maintained; the abolition of monogamous patriarchal heteronormativity inexorably leads to the abolition of high civilization and to mass reproductive failure, as happens currently); whereas the suppression of your diseased satanic imagination preserves civilization and allows it to prosper, hence it is necessarily and evidently the will of Gnon to eradicate that diseased and satanic imagination.

The less faggotry, the more civilizational thriving – in accordance with God’s will, as evidently manifest in reality. You can imagine it to be different than that, but it’s not different than that; it’s exactly that. Faggotry always takes civilization backwards, while efficient elimination of faggotry (and institution of families, patriarchy, and breeding) takes civilization forwards — the more efficient, the better functioning is the social technology, as evidently people breed and maintain families better the less subject they are to degeneracy — hence humanity’s ever greater advance will Naturally lead to ever more efficient suppression of faggotry, until finally the disease is permanently cured on a biological level, as Gnon evidently wills.

Mossadnik says:

Since all societies are always better off the more faggotry is suppressed, and are always worse off the more faggotry is tolerated, any legit civilizational progress (which can only ever be in line with the Tao, not in opposition thereto) will — in accordance with the manifest will of Gnon, as evident in the selection processes He established — be facilitated by, and also simultaneously and due to the very same processes select for, ever more efficient eradication of the disease. The future will only consist of civilizations that successfully eradicate the disease; it’s exactly those civilizations that Gnon evidently favors.

There is no other option.

Mossadnik says:

The Reality of Social Darwinism (societies, like individual specimens, are subject to Darwinian selection processes) will necessarily select for those societies with the best functioning social technology — which invariably and necessarily suppresses faggotry — and select against any societies that harm and compromise their own social technology by succumbing to the Satanic Temptations of faggots.

If you Anal Mousse compromise your own society’s social technology, as you mutants always do, then the future will belong to those other societies that won’t allow faggots to compromise their social technology. There is evidently a Gnonian selection process imbued in Nature that (reproductively, hence civilizationally) favors those who suppress faggotry over those who tolerate it.

The less tolerance for perversion, the better off society is – and progress is always with, never against, the Tao. Gnon’s selection processes are manifest in His Reality. Gnon evidently wills heterosexuality, patriarchy, and breeding.

Mossadnik says:

The telos of civilization is in line with — not in opposition to — the telos of libido as established by Gnon.

The telos of sexuality among sexually reproducing species is necessarily heterosexual, and the telos of civilization — as derived from the Darwinian selection processes evidently active upon it — is similarly heteronormative.

You can “imagine” it to be something else, but this satanic, diseased imagination is in diametrical contradiction to the will of Gnon manifest in reality, hence it shall never come to pass.

Mossadnik says:

Anal Mousse’s fundamental philosophical flaw is in thinking (or claiming to think) that man’s imaginations are all equal.

No, they are not all equal. The measure of whether a given fantasy is an objectively healthy one, or an objectively unhealthy one, is its accord with (or, conversely, contravention of) the observable reality of Gnon.

God created this reality according to His will, and His will is evidently manifest in its Nature; one can imagine things in line with it, and one can imagine things against it – the former type of imagination is objectively healthy, while the latter type of imagination is objectively unhealthy. They are decidedly not equal and not “just as valid.”

The consequences are accordingly. When you attempt to carry out fantasies that contradict God’s will, reality punishes you. When your imagination adheres to God’s will, then (and only then) are you rewarded by Heaven.

God’s will is what it is; man’s imagination is objectively healthier the more in line it is with it, and objectively unhealthier the more it contradicts it. Heterosexuality and heteronormativity are in line with the telos Gnon imbued in Nature, and are evidently rewarded accordingly; faggotry and sexual degeneracy are in opposition to that telos, and are evidently punished accordingly.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

>There is no natural cutoff point that designates red from not-red

Ah, the continuum fallacy, trotting out all time classics of shitlib thought-terminating cliches already.

You would like to say this; and yet – we can see monkeys that can see red cherries, and see that they prosper; and we can see monkeys that can’t see red cherries, and see that they don’t.

Your failures in apprehension of Being are a contingency of that particular aspect of Being that is yourself, not Being as such.

Animus says:

@Mossadnik: Gnon is sure taking his sweet time getting rid of the gays! Make sure he doesn’t forget about the gay dolphins and gay monkeys.

> You would like to say this; and yet – we can see monkeys that can see red cherries, and see that they prosper; and we can see monkeys that can’t see red cherries, and see that they don’t.

Just being able to see color is not enough by itself to prosper. The monkeys also have to create a mental model: the range of light wavelengths that they might think of as the Good Cherry Color, which would be similar but not identical to the range known as the Red Color. This new color is not what makes the cherry healthy, it’s an artificial layer of abstraction.

The successful monkey will create the archetype of a delicious cherry *in his own head* (not taken from some unfalsifiable realm of platonic forms). The training data, so to speak, is based on sensory data from nature, but the archetype itself is monkey-made instead of Gnon-made.

Jim says:

> Gnon is sure taking his sweet time getting rid of the gays!

We have eliminated gays before, in the sense that normies were unaware that such a thing existed. If we survive, we will have to eliminate them again. If not, the judgement of Gnon is upon. Our people, our race, and our civilisation is vanishing before our eyes, and for it to continue, poofs off roofs.

Should we perish, the pet niggers and such will perish also, and a time will come when a future race graze their cattle amidst small hills formed from the rubble of New York skyscrapers, and those herding the cattle will not know there is such a thing as gay.

Rome’s buildings still stand, because made of a concrete rather different from our own. Our girders and reinforced concrete have a lifetime of about fifty years, so like the mud brick ruins of the cities of Assyria, will melt into the landscape. When Xenophon’s ten thousand passed through what had been Assyria, the mud brick cities still stood empty, but no one living remembered the Assyrians.

Mossadnik says:

Mutants of various sorts keep reoccurring, like downies for instance, but no successful human societies pretend that the objectively unhealthy are objectively healthy. A penis that jizzes inside shitty anuses instead of inside fertile pussies will lead its owner to reproductive extinction, as happens to faggots. Obviously it would be best to figure out what is causing this disease that brings about this inverted libido, and to neutralize it biologically, but regardless of when that option finally becomes scientifically available, there is until then a strong Darwinian-reproductive selection for those societies that don’t allow faggots to mess with their social technology (and strong selection against those societies that do allow it), hence poofs off roofs.

As for the monkeys, some instincts are objectively correct and healthy, and some instincts are objectively less/not correct and less/not healthy – it is the degree of successful compliance with Gnon’s reality that determines what is objectively healthy and what is objectively not. A dick that jizzes inside hairy male anuses instead of jizzing inside sweet pink pussies will lead its owner to reproductive extinction, so the impulse that leads to that behavior is objectively unhealthy. And a society that allows faggots to mess with its social technology will rapidly go extinct, hence only those that suppresses faggotry are chosen by Gnon to have any continue. His will is manifest is reality, and that will is evidently poofs off roofs.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

@anus

You say that archetypes are ‘in the mind’ and thus ‘not in reality’. There are issues on multiple levels with this rhetorical confabulation.

First and foremost, there is a basic metaphysical error in positing that something within reality is not a part of reality.

More pertinently, if there was nothing there ‘in reality’ for a being’s apprehension of archetypical forms to correspond to, then there would be no effect to it. You would see no difference between one or the other, between better or worse apprehension of the contours of reality.

But of course, there are.

Mossadnik says:

Modern Western society allowed faggots and other monstrosities to mess up its social technology, hence TFR below replacement level; only those societies that don’t allow faggots or any other diseased mutants to mess with their healthy collective instincts and with the social structures that preserve those healthy collective instincts (and protect against any unhealthy ones) have healthy fertility levels, e.g., traditional Muslim societies. Hence, what is true for the individual — some instincts are objectively healthy, some objectively diseased, as evidenced in Gnon’s observable reality and in the reward/punishment structure He established — is also true for civilization at large. Darwinian-reproductive selection swiftly removes those individuals and those societies whose conduct is unhealthy, and only allows for the biological/reproductive/civilizational continuity of those that can successfully tell what according to Gnon’s observable reality is healthy and what is not, and conduct themselves in accordance with that observable reality wherein Gnon’s will is manifest.

You comply with Gnon or you get ruthlessly and swiftly punished by Gnon, both individually and collectively. There’s no progress against the will of Heaven, only with the will of Heaven.

Animus says:

You know, Mossadnik, your posts make a lot more sense if one replaces “Gnon” with “my jew god from the Old Testament”. Haven’t you realized that this blog is for Darwinists that LARP as bible-thumpers, not the other way around?

Genetic mutation and psychological deviance both have their place in the natural world. If Gnon was as intolerant of change as you are, our distant ancestral organisms would’ve never left the oceans, let alone the jungle.

Like so many of your tribe, you are arrogant and insane enough to believe that you know the mind of God and speak for God.

The grand irony of your incessant desire to be your god’s enforcer is the implicit assumption that your god is not powerful enough to enforce his own laws and needs humans to decide to do his bidding. Looks like we have some control of our own fate after all!

Perhaps that’s what God intended. Perhaps he’s not the tyrant you so desperately want him to be.

Jim says:

> Haven’t you realized that this blog is for Darwinists that LARP as bible-thumpers, not the other way around?

The bible agrees with Darwin, so we are Bible thumping Darwinists. You are a creationist who believes humans create reality. You are angry at God, and at creation itself. You think it is rotten that God does not like you, but you do not like you either.

Animus says:

@Pseudo @Jim

In what realm of existence do you believe that archetypal forms reside? If a pattern exists in nature, why is that indicative of a thing beyond nature, rather than have it be an emergent phenomenon of nature itself?

Jim says:

> In what realm of existence do you believe that archetypal forms reside?

Right here with everything else.

If the number three existed only in the mind, it would be socially constructed, and we could make three plus two equal four.

But if you add a pile of three sea shells to a pile of two sea shells, you get a pile of five sea shells, so the numbers two, three and five are right there in those particular piles of sea shells, as red is in the particular cherry.

And so it is with archetypes, which is why movies like Miss Marvel and Ironheart fall flat.

It is not that humans arbitrarily decided to call some things red and other things green. Some things actually are red and other things actually are green. Red and green don’t exist only in the human mind, nor do they exist in some higher plane of existence. They exist in apples.

Reality is real. Existence exists.

Mossadnik says:

Haven’t you realized that this blog is for Darwinists that LARP as bible-thumpers, not the other way around?

We are both Darwinists and “Bible-thumpers.” That’s literally the essence behind the concept of Gnon. We observe God in Reality and Nature, and likewise observe Him in His Revealed Word, e.g., the Bible. You falsely posit there being a contradiction, but there isn’t.

Genetic mutation and psychological deviance both have their place in the natural world.

Some mutations are objectively beneficial; those confer a reproductive advantage. Other mutations are objectively deleterious; those render you a reproductive dead-end, which is the case with faggots. Humans are sexually reproducing species, hence heterosexuality is the only healthy (and only possible) mode of reproduction for us, which is why any mutation that diverts from heterosexuality towards deviance is necessarily unhealthy. Psychological deviance that invariably leads to reproductive failure, and that poisons the rest of society, is necessarily unhealthy, and it’s in the interest of society to eliminate it.

If Gnon was as intolerant of change as you are, our distant ancestral organisms would’ve never left the oceans, let alone the jungle.

Some “change” is random. Other is objectively beneficial. And other objectively deleterious. Your advocated “change” from heterosexuality to faggotry — be it a transition on an individual level or on a collective one — is always and inherently unhealthy, hence it is swiftly punished by Gnon, as current society, with its below replacement TFR, is being swiftly punished by Gnon. We are the descendants of those whose Traditions suppressed faggotry, and once faggotry is allowed to run free, civilization is faling apart – that is exactly Gnon’s punishment for disobeying Him. He is not tolerant of faggotry, individual or collective; that is precisely the “change” he evidently does not tolerate.

you are arrogant and insane enough to believe that you know the mind of God and speak for God.

This is like a blind person telling a seeing person that he is “arrogant and insane” for being able to see. We on this blog state objective facts about reality, wherein God’s will manifests (and derive His Law from His Reality); you dislike these objective facts, so you falsely claim that they are unknowable. But evidently, it is possible to know them, if one is willing to let go of the Pride and look into reality. Thus, it’s an objective fact that faggots are reproductive failures individually, and that societies that tolerate them rapidly fail to reproduce – collectively. The necessary conclusion is poofs off roofs.

your incessant desire to be your god’s enforcer

Acting according to God’s Will manifest in His Reality is healthy and beneficial, both individually and collectively; acting against God’s Will manifest in His Reality is sick and detrimental. We on the Right desire to be healthy, and to behave in a beneficial manner. That necessitates observing reality, drawing the correct conclusions from that observation, and adjusting accordingly. Anything else evidently leads to failure and sickness. Only those societies that follow Divine Law prosper; those that abrogate it fall apart. You are, faggot, possessed of the desire to rebel against God’s Law (and thus destroy society, as current faggotized society is rapidly collapsing); hence we know that, objectively, you are the seed and fruit of Satan, pun definitely intended.

your god is not powerful enough to enforce his own laws and needs humans to decide to do his bidding.

God does enforce His own laws, such as when He destroys civilizations that tolerate faggotry; but His will, as evidenced in the teleology with which he imbued Nature (including human nature), is for society to prosper, for civilization to expand, and for living creatures, specifically humans who are the closest to Him, to grow ever healthier and ever stronger; which growing ever healthier and ever stronger is achieved exactly (and exclusively) by following His Will as it is manifest in His Reality to the best of our ability, and advsncing civilization in accordance with (rather than in contravention of) His manifest will. Healthy humans derive immense pleasure from advancing according to Divine Law; and the inherently unhealthy need to be either cured or physically removed.

Looks like we have some control of our own fate after all!

As we observe God’s Will as manifest in His Reality, we should use our control to advance civilization and society in accordance with that objectively manifest will; the choice is indeed ours, and the reward/punishment is in accordance with correct/incorrect observation of Divine Law. The better the observation of — and adjustment to — Divine Law, the more benefits are to be reaped by society. Our fate is in our hands – we can obey Gnon and prosper, or disobey Gnon and perish. Currently, society disobeys Gnon, and evidently it perishes.

he’s not the tyrant you so desperately want him to be.

Obeying God evidently leads to prosperity, and rebelling against Him as Satanists like you always advocate evidently leads to decline. God is in fact quite merciful, in that He often gives society some time to repent, and moreover sends His messengers to show the objectively correct path towards repentance. He is a Good Father; you just seek to commit deicide, because obeying dad is always perceived by mutant, deviant, gay Satanists as an affront against their Ego/Pride. And thus in their egotistical rebellion they collapse civilizations.

For healthy humans, observing the Word of the Good Father is greatly enjoyable and beneficial; and so it is for healthy societies.

Cloudswrest says:

Red and green don’t exist only in the human mind, nor do they exist in some higher plane of existence. They exist in apples.

Being they are qualia, I was about to debate this. LOL. But assuming cherries and apples evolved red color to attract critters other than humans, they probably exist in the minds of other critters besides humans as well, even if their photoreceptors are not aligned in the same exact bands as humans.

Animus says:

> Red and green don’t exist only in the human mind, nor do they exist in some higher plane of existence. They exist in apples.

Archetypes are singular entities though, are they not?
If an apple rots and stops being red, where does the “redness” go?
The answer is that it was never in the apple to begin with. It was in our collective mental models of reality, applied by each of us as necessary to different apples.
It’s the same way that language works- based on reality, but only existing in the mind.

> Humans are sexually reproducing species, hence heterosexuality is the only healthy (and only possible) mode of reproduction for us,

Until it isn’t.

> which is why any mutation that diverts from heterosexuality towards deviance is necessarily unhealthy.
> Some “change” is random. Other is objectively beneficial. And other objectively deleterious.
> etc. etc.

“objectively”… “necessarily”… what hubris. You aren’t in the position to make that claim. Gnon is, and Gnon has kept faggotry around since time immemorial.
Natural selection is not as straightforward as you seem to believe. For example: we have evolved to love sweet foods. Sometimes this serves us well, but occasionally, and more commonly recently, it serves us poorly.
It’s highly likely that Gnon has made queerness coincide with another element of human (and animal) psychology that benefits our collective survival and/or dominance. It may be true that modern culture makes some gays particularly degenerate, as a sweet tooth might make a modern person obese, but if you attempt to throw the baby out with the bathwater by eliminating a fundamental aspect of human nature, then you are guilty of the same defiance of nature and reality that you falsely accuse me of, and you are unlikely to succeed.

> Your advocated “change” from heterosexuality to faggotry — be it a transition on an individual level or on a collective one — is always and inherently unhealthy, hence it is swiftly punished by Gnon, as current society, with its below replacement TFR, is being swiftly punished by Gnon.

You are misrepresenting my beliefs. I don’t advocate for that change- I like women too, and hope to marry one and have kids someday.
Low birth rates are primarily the fault of feminism, not fags. Not every country with fags stops having kids (see Africa), but every country that liberates women does. If women were properly dealt with, many queer men would probably be married to one, myself included.

> the desire to rebel against God’s Law (and thus destroy society, as current faggotized society is rapidly collapsing)

Strange how faggotry has been around for millennia, and yet Western society suddenly become “faggotized” at the same time it became feminized and niggerized. Homosexuality is not the cause of our society’s distancing from divine law, it is merely being weaponized by the same people that weaponize women and blacks. You may not realize this because your country is being spared from the worst of feminism and racial diversity.

> God is in fact quite merciful, in that He often gives society some time to repent, and moreover sends His messengers to show the objectively correct path towards repentance.

How much time, exactly? More time than it takes for you to roof a poof? Or are you one of his messengers, here to let faggots know that our time is up and God is finally sick of us?

> You are angry at God

I’m not angry at Gnon, or the Creator God. I’m angry at the desert god of the Old Testament, who exhibits behavior uncharacteristic of an omnipotent, omniscient creator deity.

> we are Bible thumping Darwinists.
> We are both Darwinists and “Bible-thumpers.”

This makes sense for Christianity (on a societal level), but there has never been a successful civilization founded on the principles of the Old Testament.

> He is a Good Father; you just seek to commit deicide,

Good to whom? Your racial god is a deadbeat dad at best, and a psychopath at worst… and that’s just based on how he treats his “chosen children”, let alone the rest of us!
Gnon, on the other hand, would never act like that. He wouldn’t play favorites, and he wouldn’t fuck with his own system. He is simply not the Sky Daddy that you want him to be.

Jim says:

This is too stupid and unresponsive for reply to be possible. “where does the redness go”

Putting you on moderation for deliberate stupidity.

Mossadnik says:

Humans are sexually reproducing species, hence heterosexuality is the only healthy (and only possible) mode of reproduction for us,

Until it isn’t.

Since faggots evidently defy Gnon’s libidinal/reproductive teleology as it actually exists (humans’ only mode of reproduction is heterosexual, and faggotry is inherently sterile in the reproductive sense, results in diseases, and is itself an aberration as it evidently compromises reproductive fitness), which teleology is determined by observation of God’s Reality and the behaviors/instincts that lead to reproduction vs. those that compromise reproductive fitness, there is every reason for it to be biologically eliminated, and absolutely no reason for it to be biologically preserved and spread.

Since societies that tolerate perversion are indeed selected against before our very eyes, whereas societies that suppress perversion are indeed selected for before our very eyes (only the latter successfully reproduce), the Darwinian selection process is in the direction of ever more efficient removal of faggotry.

“objectively”… “necessarily”… what hubris. You aren’t in the position to make that claim.

We are certainly in a position to observe which behavior leads to reproduction and which behavior compromises reproductive fitness and leads to reproductive failure; since Gnon’s teleology is evident in Nature, and that teleology is that we should succeed (rather than fail) at reproduction, then we are absolutely in the position to observe that heterosexuality is healthy, and faggotry inherently isn’t.

Gnon has kept faggotry around since time immemorial.

Plenty of diseases and mutations have been around for a while; that does not change one bit the fundamental teleology of libido and reproduction, which observation of Gnon’s Reality as He actually created it tells us is necessarily heterosexual – ass babies don’t and cannot exist.

It’s highly likely that Gnon has made queerness coincide with another element of human (and animal) psychology that benefits our collective survival and/or dominance.

I keep hearing faggots make that claim. You have never provided any evidence for it. The fact of the matter is that only those societies that suppress perversion successfully reproduce. Look around at which societies reproduce and which do not. The correlation is absolutely clear.

Not every country with fags stops having kids

Every country that abolishes hetero-normativity stops having kids.

Homosexuality is not the cause of our society’s distancing from divine law

Allowing faggots (and some other diseased types; I don’t blame faggots exclusively) into the priesthood, and allowing them from within the priesthood to mess up society’s healthy social technology, is exactly what led to all the other, later social illnesses.

Look around you – your society is in rapid reproductive failure, about to be replaced by shitskins and niggers. To avert the collapse, you urgently need to restore patriarchal, monogamous marriage. Faggots always seek to undermine that, thus faggots undermine society’s collective reproductive fitness (they do so by sneaking into and subverting priesthoods), as they are individually reproductively unfit.

I’m angry at the desert god of the Old Testament

You are angry at being born a mutant, and too prideful to recognize that faggotry is a disease which should be biologically cured rather than normalized, even as it’s an easily observable fact that faggotry necessarily compromises reproductive fitness individually, and only its suppression allows for the collective reproductive fitness of society.

there has never been a successful civilization founded on the principles of the Old Testament.

All successful civilizations suppress faggotry. The part of the OT you dislike is exactly the best part, lol.

Gnon, on the other hand, would never act like that. He wouldn’t play favorites, and he wouldn’t fuck with his own system. He is simply not the Sky Daddy that you want him to be.

Gnon evidently favors some things over others; that’s the whole point behind Darwinian evolution and the selection processes inherent to it, from which selection processes Gnon’s manifest will is determined.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

>If an apple rots and stops being red, where does the “redness” go?

Why are you so stupid? The things that made it red were destroyed, so it stopped being red. Much like how societies that tolerate this kind of faggotry get destroyed, and so stop being civilization.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

Animus it’s really simple: if you want people to consider sparing you from receiving your just desserts, then the pertinent thing to do would be to just provide any example at all of faggotry coinciding with flourishing rather than decline.

That’s it. Literally the most direct, easy, and parsimonious way to settle a dispute.

It’s telling how you’ve never even attempted this, no matter how often people directly challenge you on this point, in spite of it being the most decisive response to such challenges, just heaping up piles and piles of anti-epistemological sophistry.

No example will be forthcoming of course. There never is.

You act this way because your own eyes tell you that faggotry is bad, and so the parasite pulling the levers in your brain knows that its only hope is to convince people to damn their eyes.

… it seems that spike shots really were doing their job of lowering fertility but not nearly as thoroughly as our masters hoped:
1. It seems that there is a fall in fertility, fortunately not in the sense that “such-and-such percentage of women can not have kids at all any more”, but in the sense that “such-and-such percentage of women need more time to get pregnant”.
2. I’ve examined data about spontaneous abortions, and there might be some correlation between those and spike shots, but results seem inconclusive, prone to “statistical error margin”.
3. Both those effects seem to fade over time. I certainly hope it is so.

After they cancelled one election and massively and openly rigged the second.

Does not look all that willing.

Varna says:

In Romania the situation seems a bit of a throwback to the 2020 Biden thing, with a record activity and two million new voters appearing out of nowhere to save the day.

At the same time Poland also voted for prez, and also showed record activity, which also saved the day for our values and a rules based order.

If anyone has some takes on Trump in the Gulf, and what the heck all those “deals” and “investments” were “really about”, and why they fawned all over him like that, and who’s ackshully zooming who, well please do share because I’m interested.

Elements can include and are not restricted to:

Arabia as off-Taiwan chip fab, since no Shaniqua or HR.

Trump maybe soon recognizing Gaza as a country, and the Gulfies being genuinely appreciative of this. Now they can do charity and development in Gaza, and take the Palestinians on as gibs cases, but under their own control and not needing to let them out of Gaza and into their own countries physically.

Courting Iran for a nuclear deal, plus bonus membership in the new cool kids club.

Alf says:

Some questions on Russia versus Ukraine.

It’s come to my attention that there’s a lot of footage out there of Russians using coercion at the front line on their own soldiers. Mobilizing soldiers with crutches, humiliating desertors in holes, using stopping lines to shoot desertors, that sort of thing. I thought it was propaganda, but seems to be true. What’s more, I can’t find any Ukranian equivalent of that kind of coercion at the front lines. Lots of footage of press gangs far away from the front lines, yes, but nothing at the front lines.

So to anyone willing to lend their insights – how much of this is true? Why don’t we have equivalent footage of Ukranian force at the front line? I can’t rhyme the Ukranian press gangs with that – one would imagine that if force is used to send someone to the front line, force is used to keep someone at the front line. Is it fog of war? And what’s up with Russians sending soldiers with crutches? Is that dumb bureaucracy? Why would they need that if they have enough people signing up?

Me says:

Yeah, soldiers with crutches are walking miles under fire to reach enemy positions successfully, they are just that good. In fact, if you don’t need crutches the army doesn’t accept you, cause it would be too easy. Does it even really count as a win, if you didn’t do it in crutches?

Or it’s the terrorists creating propaganda by murdering pows or unwilling conscripts.

Alf says:

Alf says:

Also, if propaganda, why is even Grok repeating it? Not that I’d trust Grok much more than any other AI, but if propaganda, you’d expect the peace faction of Thermidor to at least have a counter-narrative in place.

Jim says:

There is no peace faction in Thermidor. They want to destroy Russia, China, and Iran, they live in their bubble, and believe it is achievable. And it is achievable, but likely to fail catastrophically, likely in nuclear fire.

Again and again, I see senior members of the Trump administration saying things that reveal them to be profoundly ignorant of very simple, obvious, and undeniable facts about the war. It is as if they were still taking seriously Russia Russia Russia and that the Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinfo. It is all an incestuous circle jerk. They have their heads stuck up their asses.

The intelligence agencies are propaganda agencies, and are the first to believe their own lies, and the last to see the truth. The closer you are to power, the less you know about this war.

You also saw a picture of Zelensky in the room with the negotiators. He was never near the room. It is all fake. Everything you hear is just grossly detached from reality. It was all theater, and the primary target of that theater is not you and me, but Trump and top members of the administration.

Remember how Trump wanted to withdraw from Syria, and was just flat out disobeyed and lied to. We are seeing something similar happen with diplomacy. He is in a worse position than anyone to discover what is going on, because he is surrounded by people who are deceived and deceiving. Each of them is deceived, and each of them is trying to deceive all the others.

On the eighty twenty issues, like illegal aliens and men in women’s sports, Thermidor has broken with left wing delusion. But on Russia, China, and Ukraine, the same process of an ever escalating spiral of madness is still going strong, madness leading to yet greater madness.

Jim says:

If you do the Ukraine search on Youtube, you see a reality utterly disconnected from what is happening on the front line, and this is the reality our elite is living in.

clear your browser cache and navigate to Youtube. Type “the Ukraine War” in the search bar.

Observe what comes up. Would anything give you a hint that the Ukraine is being slowly overrun, has been being overrun since The Greatest Ukrainian Counteroffensive, that it has very very few vets left on the front lines, and that the war largely consists of the Russians destroying a front line somewhere, and fresh conscripts being formed into a new front line just behind the one that just fell?

Everyone in power sees what you see on Youtube with an empty browser cache and a different browser to the one you usually use.

Because the Russians are advancing, it is hard to tell from battlefield news what their casualties are. Because the Ukrainians are not retreating, it is easy to tell from battlefield news what their casualties are. Their casualties are absolutely catastrophic.

Russian tactics are not aimed at taking strong places. They are aimed at exterminating the Ukrainian troops, who tend to be occupying strong places. They don’t try to take a strong place until they have first made it extremely dangerous to attempt to retreat from that place, and often the Ukrainians never get retreat permission anyway.

Most Russian advances don’t push the front line back. They annihilate the front line, and then fresh Ukrainian conscripts form another one.

A little while ago there was dispute over whether some village was Russian or Ukrainian controlled. The Russian soldiers put up on social media a video of them running up the flag. The Ukrainians said that was a sabotage and reconnaissance group that promptly fled after running up the flag — which happens often enough, so not an obvious lie. So the Russians then put out video after video of them running up flags all over the place in this village, and walking around the village as if they were at home. And then the Ukrainians said that they still have troops in the village hiding in basements. And the Russians sort of conceded that there were indeed still Ukrainian troops hiding in basements. This has the obvious implication that the troops that had been holding the village are never going home and the Ukrainians implicitly conceded that they were never going home./

Karl says:

There is no peace faction in Thermidor.

Possibly, perhaps even probably, but how can you know? Thermidor is a coalition of various factions. I am hoping that there are some Jimians in this coaltion. Do you think there are none? Or do you think there might be some, but they cannot form a faction, because what they think is different from what they dare to say?

Jim says:

There are some reactionaries in our ruling coalition. But not very many, and they cannot govern without the support of Thermidor.

Thermidor is leftists who feel insufficiently holy, and, being insufficiently holy, want their unprincipled exceptions back.

Karl says:

Ah, I misunderstood. I had thought that Thermidor was the word for the whole coalition including reactionaries. As I understand now Thermidor is only a part of this coalition. Only the non-reactionary factions of the coalition are Thermidor.

Bix Nudelmann says:

“Collapse” by Jared Diamond (“((()))”, FWIW) was effectively and accidentally about exactly this pattern: How once things get really terminal, it has become socially/”credentially” impossible to get a seat at the high-enough table from which to speak the truth to anyone with some authority to change anything.

What’s so interesting is that this time, in 2025, while all this top-brass fart-sniffing circle-jerking is going on, the truth is still leaking upwards into the noosphere through Twitter and the web. I don’t imagine that was happening in WW2 or Vietnam, for example, so maybe this time can be different somehow.

Jim says:

Alf, it is a volunteer army, a long war, and contracts are short. Russia needs people to enlist, and they need their volunteers to re-enlist. In this war, veterans have demonstrated that they are immensely more valuable than new recruits.

I have seen it alleged that trees in some of the videos are more characteristic of Canada than Eastern Europe. I have not investigated this allegation, because the videos absurd on their face.

I watched a video of people dressed in Russian uniforms, who were allegedly Russian soldiers complaining about the war. And allegedly there was a translation voice over so we could not hear their words, just the translator’s words. But whatever they were saying, it was as short or shorter in the original than in the alleged translation, while Russian generally takes longer than the same thing in English. So either they were not speaking Russian, or were not talking about what the translator had them saying. I immediately came to the perhaps biased conclusion that these guys were not Russians, nor could they speak Russian, nor was the video shot in Eastern Europe.

I have only seen one of the kind of videos you are talking about. Seemed fake to me, I concluded it had been shot in Canada, perhaps because I have a little experience of the Canadian landscape and it looked like that, though this may merely show I am unfamiliar with the Eastern European landscape. Concluding that the first such video I watched was obviously fake on four different grounds, I have watched no others.

It is the same principle I applied in my arguments with Peace on whether any unicorns at all exist. If his first saint was obviously pulled out of a choirboy’s ass by the Lavender Mafia, no point in discussing the others.

Bix Nudelmann says:

I watched a video of people dressed in Russian uniforms, who were allegedly Russian soldiers complaining about the war. And allegedly there was a translation voice over so we could not hear their words, just the translator’s words.

Shit wait hang on. You couldn’t even hear the words the “Russian” guys were actually speaking? Not at all?

If that’s the case then they weren’t speaking Russian, fucking period, I mean come on.

Jim says:

> You couldn’t even hear the words the “Russian” guys were actually speaking? Not at all?

Not at all. And because this was the first breadtube video of the Russian army that I saw, I dismissed all the others sight unseen. Same principle as Peace’s “saints”.

Alf says:

OK, poster girl example then.

https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/1i8u3l0/another_video_of_a_russian_cripple_brigade/

I choose this video because it’s the longest and most egregious example of the claim that the Russians are sending the injured into battle because the politburo requires them to fill their daily quota of assaults.

In it, we see about two dozen soldiers, a couple of them on crutches. One soldier is ‘secretly’ filming as the soldiers on crutches are taken away, supposedly selected for an assault. It even includes some short interviews with some injured soldiers, complaining about how f*cked up the situation is.

If fake, why?

Jim says:

Did not look at it. Comes from Reddit. If your poster comes from Reddit, there are no poster girls. If anything true or real appears on Reddit, the poster gets instabanned regardless of topic or content. If it comes from Reddit, it is made up. Because no dissenting voices are permitted, Reddit becomes ever more detached from reality.

Now if your poster girl came from X, would merit serious attention and analysis. And on X, would get serious attention and analysis. Would probably get community noted.

Try looking up something that you can yourself verify on Reddit. For example why is the actress who plays Snow Brown in deep trouble? It is because leftists are horrible people and she is a leftist, and the leftists who advanced her career are also horrible people, and horrible people cannot stand each other. You will not learn that on Reddit.

Why would you think that Reddit was a more reliable source on Russia, which you cannot verify, than it is on games and movies, which you can verify?

Here is are a link on Reddit which discusses matters where you can easily falsify the authoritative reddit line:
https://www.reddit.com/r/youtubedrama/comments/1knlak8/ana_valens_journalist_who_broke_the_kirsche/

But you cannot falsify from information available on Reddit.

What you will not read on Reddit is that “ana” valens is a man who dresses up as a woman and who inflicts his disgusting gore fantasies on any female in the vicinity, and that for no intelligible reason he tried to cancel, deplatform, and demonetize Kirsche, who is a moderate centrist normie conservative, who seldom directly addresses political issues, and mostly talks games, celebrity gossip, the latest memes, and girlie stuff. I conjecture he was just enraged by the moe cuteness of her vtube avatar. I notice that leftists tend to get enraged by stuff that is cute, girlie, and puppyish, which is the essence of her brand. It just enrages them like classical music drives away blacks. There are a lot cute moe puppyish avatars on vtube, but her natural voice fits her avatar, and her girlie content fits her voice and avatar. Which makes her the most cute, moe, and puppyish of the vaguely right of moderate center vtubers. I conjecture that this is what enraged him.

In any environment where the party line is imposed on everyone, the most egregious lies flourish, so I just don’t look at information from such sources. Same principle as “Peace” starting of his list of female saints who were sainted for unicorn conduct with a saint obviously pulled out of a choirboy’s ass by the Lavender Mafia. If your poster girl comes from Reddit, there are no real poster girls, just as if all your flying saucer photos look like the photographer forgot to remove the lens cap, there are no flying saucers.

We are drowning in a sea of lies, and the only way to deal with it is to absolutely cut out entire sets of sources. There is a fire hose of infomation, most of it lies, and the only way to deal with it is to be highly selective about what information you look at. Which means you don’t look at anything from Reddit. I did not look at the link I gave you, I just did a search for “Ana” and Kirsche. Because I already know what I would find if I clicked on the link. Since I already know what Reddit will say, no point in actually looking at anything from Reddit.

The Kirsche Ana incident is a storm in teacup. It does not matter much. But what matters it does not take much research to find the video where Kirsche supposedly said all these horrible Nazi things, and it does not take much research to find “Ana” engaging in extraordinarily foul verbal sexual aggression against random women, but you will not find a hint of this on Reddit. They are all self enclosed in their own little universe. The stuff about Kirsche and “Ana” was made up, so why look at the stuff about Russia, where the required homework is much harder.

I casually assert that the stuff was made up, without ever having looked at it, because I know what Reddit will say and believe about this incident. For any incident where I have reliable knowledge of what actually happened, I can reliably predict what Reddit will say happened. Reddit will lie in support of black man who attacks a white, and lie in support of the trannie who attacks a woman, and will lie unanimously in the sense that any redditor is who is unhappy about all the lying will keep his head down.. So no point in going to Reddit on issues where I don’t know what happened, because I already know what they are going to say. Since I already know Reddit is going to say baby eating Russians on crutches armed with rusty shovels, no point in actually going to Reddit to obtain information on whether Russians are baby eaters on crutches armed with rusty shovels.

The value of the Kirsche storm in a teacup is that since the whole storm is about stuff that happened on the internet, we can be completely sure who is lying, and can therefore exclude not just particular individual sources, but entire media.

If one person is lying or dementedly and stubbornly deluded about one thing, you can dismiss everything that that one person says about everything. If several people in an environment are lying or dementedly and stubbornly deluded about one thing, and no one will seriously contradict them about easily verifiable facts, you can dismiss everything that anyone in that entire environment says about anything. Which saves a lot of effort and thought when we are being deluged with a fire hose.

Varna says:

Re: the spectrum of sources of lies, I’ll just throw in an example of what “elegant propaganda” looks like these days. The Guardian is one of the few mainstream publications, where for example “environmentalism” is still to a significant extent about “let’s not poison the water, ground, and air”, for which – respect. That being said, almost everything else is Gazeta Pravda, and needs to be read like Gazeta Pravda, with a magnifying glass, until you get to the one sentence at the bottom which shows the truth.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jan/24/north-korea-preparing-to-send-more-troops-to-ukraine-war-says-south-korea

In this classical-example article about “North Koreans sent to fight against the Ukraine”, 99% of it builds up through choice of words and innuendo a reality, in which hordes of North Koreans are trying to swamp Kiev. Only at the very end, do we see with the magnifying glass the one tiny sentence, where it is admitted that they are all inside the Russian-proper region of Kursk, where they fight the Ukrainian soldiers who entered the Kursk region.

This is how “high end” propaganda works today. Subtly, in the best traditions of the old-timey Soviet one.

Or like high-end female manipulation, where they try to evade direct falsehoods, but use every tool at their disposal to summon into being, through choice-word, through eyelash flutter, through shoulder shrugs, through deliberately unsaid things, a substitute reality.

Neurotoxin says:

For those who don’t click through to Varna’s link, the method is e.g.

“North Korea is preparing to send more soldiers to fight in the Ukraine war… four months after the North sent an estimated 11,000 troops to the Ukraine conflict…”

The Guardian is obviously hoping its readers will read “the North sent an estimated 11,000 troops to the Ukraine conflict” as “the North sent an estimated 11,000 troops to the Ukraine.” I counted four instances of this, including the headline, then stopped reading.

In my group of friends we have a running gag called ‘the moral winner’. The joke being that whenever you lose a game, you proclaim yourself the moral winner because of XYZ. Eg, the actual winner didn’t adhere to some imaginary rule. It’s a fun gag, easy to abuse.

GAE is abusing this in Ukraine. ‘Yes, we are losing, but the brave Ukranians have put up great resistance, and everyone has now seen the absurd brutality the Russians use at the front. We are the moral winners.’

And sure, being the actual winner is wonderful and much more important. But I would like for us to crush our enemies in all ways, withhold them of their moral victory. That when they show footage of soldiers in crutches, we can respond: ‘why are they are talking with Ukranian accents?’ or ‘those trees are distinct of Western Europe’.

white bread says:

Not sure if this needs to be mentioned, it seems kinda too obvious but just in case…There is no “artificial intelligence” at all, but it just so happens that the mathematical techniques used to fake “intelligence” are the same techniques used to fake images. You know, “deep fakes”.

The other funny thing is, the anti Russian propaganda is so retarded, it’s a bad joke. Yet some people will believe anything they are told.

Putting those two things together, the pentagon comes up with fake images proving that pigs fly and that the Russian army is an army of cripples.

There is admitedly a problem. I don’t know of any effective way to get people who lazily believe in absurd things (like an army of cripples) to think rationally.

Karl says:

The thing is, it is safer to believe propaganda unless the propaganda is aimed at harming yourself.

It is dangerous to voice disbelieve of propagande. Maybe some people can disbelieve and shut up. I guess that is a tiny minority at best. I takes effort to shup up in public, but I find it impossible to do so in private. Depending on how vigoroulsy propaganda is enforced, even talking in private can get people into serious trouble. So yes, it is safer to believe propaganda.

It’s a literal heap of garbage that’s not worth anyone’s time to dig through.

Jim says:

The Russian army has a lot of volunteers. Each of those volunteers knows lots of other people on the front line, because a substantial part of the social groups from which recruitment is coming is on the front line.

So they know what is propaganda, and what is not.

The Ukrainian army has to drag people off the streets. The war has been going for years. So everyone in the groups that are heading to the front lines know what is up.

We have overwhelming evidence of Ukrainians just doing flat out fraud for propaganda purposes. We have no similar evidence of duplicity from Russia.

So, the reason you don’t see this stuff from the Ukrainian front lines is that it is all taking place in a movie studio located in Western Europe, Canada, or the US.

Big Brutha says:

Anyone that knows post-Soviet military structures past and present knows they are not what we would call engines of either efficiency or good times. There’s a lot of brutality in terms of their institutional culture and how they treat the average soldier/conscript. The ritual hazing i.e. “дедовщина” is not the sort of thing that provides a morale boost for incoming soldiers.

Regardless, the Russians are still a lethal fighting force and one that has continued to learn from its mistakes early on in this war. That is sort of the Russian modus operandi: throw huge numbers of people at the problem and figure out what kills more of the enemy than it does your own troops. It’s very hands on in that sense. It’s like chemotherapy: the goal is that you finish off the cancer before the treatment finishes you off and the nastier the cancer the more healthy cells you are going to kill because of the toxicity of the treatment cocktail.

There’s no much that is elegant there except in the evolutionary sense. But the size difference has always been the tool that the Russians have used to their advantage. There are simply more of them than the enemy and they can afford, in comparative terms, to spend soldiers more recklessly. That allows them to try things that a force with less available manpower can’t try because it is too risky.

Jim says:

> There are simply more of them than the enemy and they can afford, in comparative terms, to spend soldiers more recklessly.

That is true when both sides are using conscripts. Russia has a volunteer army in the Ukraine, and cannot afford anything remotely resembling the huge casualties that the Ukrainians are taking, or else people would stop volunteering.

In this war Russian generals get fired for losing too many men, as for example at Ugladar. Ukrainian generals get fired for retreating from hopeless positions.

S says:

Not news for people who read Simplicitus but, the Russian Army is signing people up on limited time contracts (6, 12 or 24 months). About the demographics comments… I don’t see a way to fix it near-term. China might achieve something by removing the benefits of divorce (benefits for women, I mean) but no country that pretends to be democratic will be able to pull that off.

The problem isn’t women, as they’re having kids even single and in their 30s nowadays.

The problem is the system breaks men’s backs and has run out of ways to hide that it’s doing so.

Feminism is the biggest problem, leading to the majority of women becoming disagreeable and divorce-prone.

Child-rearing is another problem. In most countries it’s standard to send every child to kiddie gulag until they’re adults, so they have limited chance to learn anything from father, or to see father, and the result is alienation from father.

Then we have Weimarization and pervert teachers and (((psychologists))) turning kids trans, which is just insult to injury for any man that does still take on marriage.

So marriage for men looks like gambling your life on the slim chance that your wife won’t ruin your will to live, or destroy you financially, and that your kids will respect and appreciate you and not turn trans and die of a drug overdose before getting their first job.

All the benefits of marriage, for men, are down to chance. The demographic collapse will continue until that changes.

Even if you had 0 browns, blacks, and jews or whatever you will still get cucked by school. Look at China, look at Iran, look at basically any country that puts a boy until he is 18 into a daycare center with cat hags in charge.

What, exactly, is even the point of this system anymore? They *still* point a gun to your head to make you say the deer is a horse, even after 18 years of drilling this garbage into your head. Just get it over with and just point the gun at me next time instead of giving me this endless seminar in a place likely to have had a gay orgy in it.

Whose having the most kids? The afghans who uh, don’t have a public school. The pakistani inbred mutants whose legs are too coiled up to even walk to school. The amish who jump out of school as soon as it is legal. Huh, I wonder why this correlation keeps happening.

Alas, this situation is too profitable for priests, after all, mandatory seminars until your youth is over? Why, what a great way to have everyone spend their time listening to my AIDS infested mouth of course.

Jim says:

Yes, have to end these child gulags.

Any useful function they may have once performed has been obsoleted by the internet.

Not to mention llms. Stick the children with a damage resistant AI tutor that can provide education, entertainment, and edutainment, and maintains a large individualised context window that summarises where the child is currently at and what he is interested in. Large context windows are memory expensive, but devices with unified memory can provide large vram memory at a vastly lower cost (and lower memory bandwidth) than nvidia cards.)

Upravda says:

Late John Taylor Gatto was a great proponent of abolishing the “schooling” and, specifically, Prussian school system. His books and articles are a great read, easily and legally found for free over the Internet, and titles of those are often endlessly funny. I mean:

Weapons of Mass Instruction

🙂 🙂 🙂

However, ending child gulags is not easy to achieve.

If you end them suddenly, “by revolution” instead of some kind of “evolution”, tomorrow’s kids will be illiterate. It is not that their parents could not homeschool them, teaching them reading, writing, and basics of math, natural and social sciences, they certainly could. Their parents do have knowledge for that, but what is woefully lacking is will and determination. Most of them would simply not know where and how to start.

Of course, the major reason for that is that those parents, all of us, all of you, are also product of child gulags. Secondary reason is that almost all mothers have full time jobs.

“Evolutionary” reform of schooling to education would be slow, but there are greater dangers in reforms performed slowly. Even if started, such reforms are prone to reversal by further generations of our “democratically” elected politicians and globo-homo-EU masters.

Anonymous Fake says:

You’re still only talking about mere learning. This doesn’t address the more fundamental issue of meritocracy. Who gets to make it into the Ivy League to later go on to become judges and senators and elite NGO founders and military generals and S&P500 c-suite business leaders? WHO GETS TO RULE?

We are still stuck in the entrepreneurship mindset, rather than the civil society mindset. Civil society is how governments are overthrown and civilizations saved or destroyed. Anything else is grifting, which is nice if you’re into cruises and private jets and ladyboys etc. Maybe art collecting, who knows.

Schools still control the pipeline to elite employment. Being an elite employee and simply playing golf with a politician and making off hand based comments can change history. But we aren’t going to out-donor an (((elite))) like Larry Fink. After thousands of years of history we ought to know better. And if we could, why would we?

Jim says:

Again you are redefining “merit” to mean that Harvard gets to control everything, and distribute wealth from the productive to the holy. “Merit” means that Musk is not allowed to build rockets, because he does not have a degree in rocketry.

We have had this argument far too many times, and normally I would silently delete you for shilling and for endless repetition (and for never attempting to pass the shill test stated in the moderation policy) but responding this time to note that:

Only two of the justices of the first supreme court went to college, and they were all better men than any we have had since Harvard grabbed control of the supremes in the war between the states.

When we have the upper hand, if there are still supremes, none of them will have gone to college.

Anonymous Fake says:

The great compromise is that no one prevents Elon Musk from practicing rocketry because he lacks a degree, but everyone who gets that degree is owed a job in rocketry. STEM degrees that don’t result in a job truly are a waste of life. Elon Musk and other leaders get to run the STEM schools and dictate how many degrees will be granted such that every graduate will be guaranteed a good living that can provide for a large family. And some will be future leaders too.

Republicans do have the upper hand. The supreme court isn’t being packed, government spending isn’t being cut, and sodomites are still adopting little boys and having them castrated. The 2026 midterms are smelling like a blue wave bloodbath. Trump just goes along with it instead of batphoning Colonel Franco. Well he promotes more IVF than the left so whatever…

We have a “vibe shift”. Whatever that means. Maybe it means something to a young leader who will rule 40 years from now.

Jim says:

> The great compromise is that no one prevents Elon Musk from practicing rocketry because he lacks a degree, but everyone who gets that degree is owed a job in rocketry.

These days the vast majority of computer science graduates cannot do computer science. Do I owe them a job in computer science? Who is it that has to pay these useless people? Why do I owe them. The university endowment owes them.

Rocketry and Computer Science is not the job of universities. The job of universities is inculcating the state religion and certifying prospective members of the elite as genuine members of the state religion. It always has been and always will be. Universities teaching computer science and all that is just a ponzi scheme.

If someone builds rockets successfully, like young Wernher von Braun, well, we want him in the state elite because the military wants rockets. So then, after his rockets fly, we then run him through University. Rockets first, then Wernher von Braun went to university.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

A bunch of scammers sold you a bill of goods. You don’t have the goods, and you want other people who do have the goods to pretend as if you have the goods too. That just makes you another scammer.

Any company that makes the mistake of hiring someone with a ‘degree in rocketry’ will discover to their regret that they don’t have the goods either.

The most liable party for a scam is the scammers themselves. A scammer will practically by definition be unable to cover all the red ink with black. That’s fine, the second most liable party for a scam is you yourself. Because it wasn’t anyone else who fell for the scam, it was you who fell for the scam.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

We can put it shortly: the biggest market demographic for a scam is wanna-be scammers.

Mossadnik says:

Yeah, anyone who’s been to Prussian Prison needs to undergo a long and often excruciating process of unlearning those dozen years of malicious indoctrination and social engineering if their sanity is to ever be restored.

This long-running social experiment urgently needs discarding, rather than any vain attempt at fixing it; the Prussian School system was conceived in sin and thenceforward only metastasized – by the usual demons. Into the dustbin of history it shall go.

Pilgrim says:

Indeed, and as memory serves, the usual cabal of NGOs had their tendrils in the Afghani school system before the Taliban returned to power.

Bix Nudelmann says:

From Mossadnik earlier:

(I’m mocking niggers, and moreover those retards who expect those very same 70 IQ niggers from Africa to become scientooooosts n’ sheeit who will competently maintain modern civilization.)

This reminds me of my ruminations on AI today.

My tentative (and pessimistic) conclusion being that yes, AI will soon enough get so good — and therefore movies, anime, dark interent social media and video games along with it — that nearly all phenotypes above IQ 80 or so will die out, and civilization starts over with remote pockets of the hyper-religious, like the Amish or the Sami, clearing out a ruined planet infested with IQ 70 Bix Nood Cannibals and wondering who built the pyramids.

Needless to say that all the AI tech (on down to rudimentary steel maybe) breaks down and is completely forgotten.

I always think the discussions are where the real learnings happens.

Neurotoxin says:

90% of the action on this blog is in the comments.

Adlerhorst says:

I evaluate at 97% of the text, 90% of the action and around 70% of red meat given in comments. Which yields around 10 times the efficacy reading original posts related to the addendum. Read, reread and save something works best for me, so I’m not aware what amazon offers. 700 pages encompassing four years, might as well include more than posts only.
Agree on the point that learning happens throughout reading comment section and arguing oneself.

Adlerhorst says:

The correct factor of meatiness is about 14, not that it would alter something. Feel a little embarassed, however, so the urge to correct.

Neurotoxin says:

Based on a data set composed of all the posts and comments from this calendar year, I have established a point estimate of 94.3% of the action being in the comments. The +/- 95% confidence interval for that is [92.2%, 96.4%]. I am going to submit a grant application to the NIH soon to (I hope) acquire more funding, in which case I plan to cover all the last 5 calendar years. Hopefully I can foist most of the actual work off on a research assistant that I hire with the funds, while I sip Long Island Iced Teas in Aruba (and try to avoid the notice of DOGE accountants). For the literature review, you can basically just see the References lists in Yamaguchi and Cooper (2022) or Baldwin and Ross (2023).

Anon says:

“90% of the action and around 70% of red meat given in comments.“

The problem become access. Some of the comments chains are so long and valuable, you can’t realistically save. Also you some time pass a comment you want to return to later and then forget where it is.

One of the weaknesses of the blog , is comments search , you can search the posts , but if you want to see a specific comment you remembered made by Jim or others , you have to remember the post, search it , which sometime dose not work then sift through the comments by hand .
on desktop you can use command+f to find the comment by word.

I hope Jim or someone would produce the blog in a large pdf or similar readable formate , with the comments , each post would be a chapter /section and the comments after it.

It is a massive undertaking, beyond my technical ability.

A2 says:

Well, I mean, technically speaking it’s just a matter of dutifully going to each post and printing it as a pdf. Then join up all the pdfs into one.

(If you want to be all fancy and stuff, first create a special css stylesheet for printing. I see that there are many pages on how to do this merely for WordPress.)

Fidelis says:

Depending on exactly your level of technical ability, the LLMs are rather good at this sort of task.

Find a way to run a python notebook, there are multiple and they run on every platform, including web browser, and they are favored by people whom are not programmers per se. These are interactive and allow you to just copy paste and run things and play around very quickly and easily.

Then download the archive.

Then have the LLM guide you through unpacking and then formatting everything. Just ask it step by step, and copy paste the code, you dont need to read the code or understand what it says.

The nature of the notebook is such that you can iterate step by step, and its mostly a GUI so you can copy paste and click buttons. So you just copy the output of the code it gives you, it will be incomplete and inadequate the first try, tell the bot what you want to fix, and then copy paste into a new block. When you have a working set of steps, you can restart the notebook and run the working blocks one by one to get your result.

FrankNorman says:

Those “Bix Nood Cannibals” are not going to survive if the civilization on which they are parasitic breaks down. Food does not materialize on the shelves of shops from nowhere, there’s a whole complex social and economic system behind that.
Are to imagine farms being run by robots?

The urban world is actually 100% dependent on the non-urban world for its own existence.

Mossadnik says:

Exactly so.

The consequence of white countries becoming brown countries, and then likely turning into black countries, is that once niggers are done eating whatever remains from the humans who used to run those countries, those niggers will all die of starvation. Voice-generating dishwashers and so forth will be of absolutely no avail when all humans have been replaced by cannibals.

Reproductive failure among the higher races is by far the most acute problem currently facing human civilization.

S says:

That is the plan- replace the labor of people who were never born with robots. Assuming good enough robots, there are still three issues- you need industry, the steeper the decline, the more needed and the whole system is fragile.

Any society competent to pull this off wouldn’t have gotten into the situation in the first place.

Mossadnik says:

Yeah, it’s one thing to replace e.g. most factory workers with robots, and quite another thing to replace everyone’s grandchildren with robots… which in reality means replacing them with cannibals from the third world.

Mossadnik says:

The funny thing (“funny” as in “tragically sad”) is that most normies will never notice anything wrong right until the electricity/water/etcetera shortages start interfering with their zombifying TV shows. People only seem to be interested in what politician X said this morning about politician Y, presumably because that’s what the TV tells them is important, and because they are so into Party Politics that the bigger picture is altogether missed. I refuse to pay attention to day-to-day ordinary politics. It just does not matter what politician X said this morning about politician Y and so on and so forth.

The important thing is that anti-heterosexual and anti-reproductive thought-forms have taken over mainstream culture and disrupted any form of eugenic breeding, leading (predictably, inexorably) to catastrophic global dysgenesis and to it being primarily 70 IQ Africans who “do the breeding” worldwide while normies expect their grandchildren to be talking toasters and dancing dishwashers. Almost nobody appears to notice the big picture.

Objectively diseased thought-forms that disrupt healthy social tech, cockblocking penises from jizzing inside sweet pink fertile pussies (which leads to reproduction) in an attempt to divert them into shitty hairy male anuses (which leads to AIDS and not to reproduction) have fully taken over the Cathedral and over those countries militarily/culturally occupied thereby, and everyone pretends like this situation is sustainable. But think about all the high-quality (Aryan and East-Asian) human DNA that will resultantly not pass on to the next generations as TFR levels among that cohort of humanity have dropped far below replacement level and keep plummeting.

Reality is real, existence exists, and truth is true – and eventually the chickens shall come home to roost. When the majority of high-quality humans are geriatrics in wheelchairs (give it about 4 or 5 decades) and everyone young is a nigger, what do people expect civilization to look like? Apparently most just have never considered any of it, because it’s not as juicy as what politician X said this morning about politician Y. Everyone focuses on exactly the wrong things, and unless a New Elite materializes (which is likely to require a King), will continue to do so until they run out of electricity and water and the cannibals with the machetes break into the apartment in search of some not-so-fresh flesh.

When 90% of young people in your country do not belong to your ethnicity/religion, most do not even speak your language, were born on another continent, and are primarily niggers, who exactly will keep the wheels of civilization turning? Muh robots? They too need some maintenance, don’t they? Yet almost nobody understands this, apparently. Sheeple.

The purpose of NRx should be waking up and cultivating a new ruling class that does understand the gravitaty of the situation; and that will be willing to do “whatever it takes” to fix it before everyone is in a wheelchair surrounded by niggers and the lights all go out

FrankNorman says:

“People only seem to be interested in what politician X said this morning about politician Y, presumably because that’s what the TV tells them is important, ”

Another clear evidence that Female Suffrage was a tragic mistake.

Mossadnik says:

Exactly.

It is abolition of feminism (and restoration of patriarchy) or Bronze Age collapse.

This will require a return to religion. Even if initially it will start out as a “fake it till you make it” LARP and the religion will not be believed with full sincerity, that doesn’t really matter – what matters is that people (of high-race descent) get stably married and have children again.

It’s God or death.

Mossadnik says:

If you believe the delusional Jews who promised you that you’re going to “live long enough to live forever,” then not worrying about having any descendants makes perfect sense; alas I believe that in the 21st century people will finally grow the f**k up and come to terms with their own mortality – and start planning their lives and societies accordingly. This is not to say that anti-aging science won’t advance; I very much hope that it will. But one should not count on it and on the lunatic promises made by the false prophets. Hence, once you internalize your own statistically likely mortality (possibly after having experienced some psychedelics), you suddenly realize that actually you don’t want your grandchildren to be toasters and dishwashers, but would rather have biological ones.

Mossadnik says:

Shifting from Young Earth Creationism to Old Earth Darwinism should dramatically increase one’s chud levels, as then one realizes that human nature — and, crucially, the natural laws governing human society — have been pretty constant and fixed for, indeed, a very long time. If we haven’t been around for merely six or seven millennia, but rather hominins have been around for millions of years, then Divine Law is far more deeply enshrined into our nature than previously realized. Darwin was indeed a saint.

“Believe this, not because you think it true, but for some other reason”

>as then one realizes that human nature — and, crucially, the natural laws governing human society — have been pretty constant and fixed for, indeed, a very long time.

Once you let “evolution” in the door, you are denying that anything has a fixed nature. And it soon leads to absurd levels of relativism, fuzzy thinking, and squid ink.

>If we haven’t been around for merely six or seven millennia, but rather hominins have been around for millions of years, then Divine Law is far more deeply enshrined into our nature than previously realized. Darwin was indeed a saint.

Saints do not lead people into Atheism.

Mossadnik says:

Shifting from Young Earth Creationism to Old Earth Darwinism should dramatically increase one’s chud levels,

“Believe this, not because you think it true, but for some other reason”

Not at all what I’m saying. I believe in evolution because it’s true, and (no contradiction here) point out that its implications are even more based than those of YEC. You can certainly dispute the latter point if you like; evolution will still be true regardless.

Once you let “evolution” in the door, you are denying that anything has a fixed nature.

That makes no sense. Just because red can gradually change into orange by adding yellow, does not mean that red and orange and yellow to not exist in themselves.

Saints do not lead people into Atheism.

Saints reveal God to humanity (well, that’s perhaps one of their roles; really depends on how you define sainthood), and Darwin revealed a fundamental, crucial aspect of God’s Reality to humanity. At least in that particular sense, he was a saint. That the enemies of God later used his theory to deny God does not change that at all.

Neurotoxin says:

>“Believe this, not because you think it true, but for some other reason”

Appreciation for Screwtape reference.

But:

Once you let “evolution” in the door, you are denying that anything has a fixed nature.

Whoa, hold on, FrankNorman. The word “fixed” is a load-bearing word in that sentence. If you remove it, we have:

Once you let “evolution” in the door, you are denying that anything has a nature.

Plainly that’s not right.

I don’t remember who said it, but it sounds like something someone in this forum would say. Can anyone take credit for this? Hopefully with a link?

Mossadnik says:

I don’t like taking credit (I’d much rather give credit to my teachers, Jim and P-C and other Men of God), but pretty sure that I’ve been saying just that, consistently and repeatedly, for a long while. But obviously I’m not the only one who grasps it and phrases it that way. Browse the archives; it should be there in a number of threads, including recent ones.

And it was in fact Jesus Christ, when denouncing the hypocrites, who famously made that observation. It’s just that at the time, the modern term “leftists” did not yet exist; but clearly it was the same phenomenon back then as we are dealing with right now.

E.g., Matthew 23:27:

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

He is denouncing the very same “type” that we are dealing with nowadays.

It’s the same thing.

f6187 says:

@animus wrote:

The color red is a manmade classification (i.e. archetype) for certain wavelengths of light. …

I would rephrase that. The word “red” refers to the class of all light waves with a length between approximately 625 and 750 nanometers.

The wavelengths exist in our plane, but the classification does not- it is only real in humanity’s collective ideosphere. There is no natural cutoff point that designates red from not-red , there is only our collective subjective judgement.

I note that you use the word “only” twice there, in both cases denigrating the function of human consciousness in this world.

Yes there is subjectivity in the evolution of language and concepts: We could use the word “red” to refer to wavelengths between 450 and 495 nanometers, or to refer to elephants. We could use the word “quetzel” to refer to what we now know as red. But we don’t. Or rather, anyone who does will have a difficult time interacting with other people.

In the movie “True Colors,” David Byrne remarks in his distinctly calm and childlike style:

You know, things that never had names before are now easily described. It makes conversation easy.

Yes it makes conversation easy, and it makes thought and therefore action easy too.

To say that classification is “only” real in humanity’s collective ideosphere is to minimize the great importance it has for human life. For the most part we wouldn’t even have *food* without this capacity to classify real things into mental concepts.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

If you have a language that has one sign referring to one signified used by one signifier, the sign can be almost anything.

But the more things you want to be able to talk about, the less arbitrary the language can be.

Few seem to appreciate the implications of this fact.

Jim says:

The imperfection of words and language often make it difficult to talk about things in the world. But what we are talking about, or trying to talk about, is out there in the world. All the various forms of the worst argument in the world are excuses for abandoning the connection, because the party making the worst argument in the world does not like God’s creation: As for example, calling men who have a feminisation sexual fetish “women”. This is an attempt to force us to participate in someone else’s sexual fetish. A pronounista almost always combines a non consensual sex fetish with a feminisation fetish. Forcing pronouns on other people sexually turns them on.

A2 says:

I can’t comment directly on F6187’s comment for some reason (reply button doesn’t click) but: one should note that the colors are based on the entirely physical photoreceptors in the eye detecting red, green and blue according to type. (Tetrachromats, please be quiet.)

Daddy Scarebucks says:

If we had many more cone types and our visual range extended well into the infrared and ultraviolet, then we probably wouldn’t use words like “infrared” and “ultraviolet”, we would use different words, because we’d be describing them for how they look to us, not where they are on the spectrum. But the underlying reality would still be exactly the same; the possibility of a species/evolution that can see IR doesn’t invalidate the definition of “IR”, it’s still exactly where it always was on the EM spectrum. If an IR-perceiving species were to use an IR remote, they might see the light it emits, but the remote would not suddenly stop working. Reality does not depend on external observers.

“Social construction” only affects how we interact with reality, not how reality itself operates. Leftists are technically and superficially correct to say we can change the construction arbitrarily, but then they lie themselves into the belief that this changes the underlying reality, when in truth the “alternative” construction is simply less useful, less adapted to the reality it tries to describe, and more prone to causing catastrophic social and technological failures.

Perception: There are no green stars.
Reality: There are stars that emit both green and red, which look yellow to us.
Anus: That means our sun is actually purple and only I can see it HAHAHAHA

It’s all so tiresome. Once you take away the rationalizing squid ink, it’s obvious that they’re just raving lunatics who need to be locked up in a padded cell.

Neurotoxin says:

“Once you take away the rationalizing squid ink, it’s obvious that they’re just raving lunatics”

The “good” ones are raving lunatics. The majority of them are purposefully evil people who are launching a frontal assault on the human race’s ability to think. They know what they’re doing; reading the post-modernists makes this clear. It’s deliberate obfuscation by poorly-defined terms, the continuum fallacy (as PC called out above), the motte-and-bailey technique (modern lefties love this one), and as always, word games, word games, word games.
“There’s no such thing as a tree.”
“Sure there is; look over there.”
“Your mind is imprisoned in language, which filters what you perceive and causes you to see things as if they’re trees.”
“Retarded. Plainly I perceive some things as trees and some things not as trees. If what you said is true, why don’t I perceive everything as a tree?”
“Your arguing me is carried out with words, which just proves my point. We can never escape from our prison of language.”
“Professional linguists, the people who actually study this stuff, do not believe the extreme version of the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis.”
(I don’t know what their response to that would be, but I’m sure they’d have one, and it would just be more squid ink, ad infinitum.)

Neurotoxin says:

And of course, the BS that David Stove called “the worst argument in the world”: the Kantian notion that boils down to, “Because we have eyes, we cannot see.”

Daddy Scarebucks says:

The “good” ones are raving lunatics. The majority of them are purposefully evil people

Po-tay-to, po-tah-to.

Florid insanity and demonic evil are very close cousins, if not identical twins. Case in point, the Troony Toonz.

FrankNorman says:

Once one realizes that the other person is debating in bad faith, does not really believe the nonsense that he or she is spouting, but is just spouting it as an ego-flex, one should become a good deal less patient with the nonsense.

One obvious clue that many of these people are insincere, is their apparent inability to treat anyone who seriously disagrees with them as sincere.

S says:

It happens when someone uses the quote function; moving your cursor to the left side of the reply box should work.

Jim says:

Obviously cultural differences will produce changes in color categorisations. I know what red is, but what is magneta? And if our eyes were different, there would be big changes in color categorisations. Birds see color much better than mammals, so if they could talk, would slice things up very differently with considerably finer gradations covering a broader range. People who make paints make up new names for colors, and then trademark those names. But this does not make colors man made. Merely the names of colors. A trademark is man made, but the thing it is trying to lay claim to is something outside the mind in the world.

Fidelis says:

Is it breaking the Peace of Westphalia if we declare the New American Church to be the Catholic Church, but simply replace all of the Lavender Mafia and holier than though weirdos with Pauline Criterion good men in Rome? Maybe a healthy snake temple burning and idol smashing while we’re at it. Then make it clear that the Vatican is subordinate to the God-selected Divine Lawgiving Emporer.

America has to clean up it’s mess in Western Europe, and white South America, and the bajillion little protestant sects are going to continue fragmenting into and out of various heresies and degeneracies. So we need not just a national church, but an Empire Church, because the empire was made and abandoning the satrapies entirely is in bad spirit.

Neurotoxin says:

I think it would be breaking the Peace of Westphalia, in a normal era. But since we’re careening toward WWIII anyway…

FrankNorman says:

I think you’ll find out just how “fragmented” those “little Protestant sects” actually are, if you make any serious attempt to impose Roman Catholicism on them.

No, Bible-believing Christians will not be joining with the Harlot of Babylon. Give up on that, it’s not going to happen.

Fidelis says:

No one cares about your little parish of twelve. All the mainstream protestant churches took billions to carry out the replacement of their flocks with black muslims and old god worshipping indios. With glee and relish all the while. You can go be a remnant in the hills after we impose real Christianity on the common folk.

Jim says:

The Roman Catholic Church lagged in going woke. But today, Roman Catholicism is the second or third wokest off them all, and is way woker than most of the surviving protestant Churches.

Most of the mainstream protestant churches will turn on a dime if power turns, they always have, but Roman Catholicism has its center in Global American Empire in exile. To fix Roman Catholicism, have to cut the head off the serpent.

Fidelis says:

I am suggesting smashing all the idols in the Vatican, dealing with the faggots in priests robes, and replacing them all with ‘Men of one wife…’ criterion, alongside a healthy dash of clearly hating the enemies of God. Then making this the favored church of the American empire. Since the insane and evil regime managed to take over Europe, and if we leave abruptly they’re just going to get themselves killed one way or another anyway, it seems reasonable to pull the reverse of Charlemagne and frock our own Patriarch.

I was a bit nasty in my response, because the commenter had a knee jerk reaction implying some sort of deep protestant identity that does not really exist, beyond the remnant in the hills, and further implied I was suggesting that the faggots currently organized in the Vatican should be in charge of anything. This is foolish, and I pointed out how foolish it was by reminding him the church he is identifying with accepted billions of dollars of aid in order to replace him and his family with black muslims and aztec child sacrificers.

Jim says:

Yes, but the Vatican claims universality and claims supremacy of Church over state.

Universality is going to be a problem for independent states outside of whatever empire controls Italy. Which problem led to the sack of Rome. Supremacy is going to be a problem for whoever does control Italy.

The holy Roman Emperor and the Pope were fighting over whose empire it was, the holy Roman Emperor hired protestants to give him a helping hand, and a river of blood washed over Rome.

Both of these claims have got to go.

Fidelis says:

I covered the conflict between church and state in my introductory post on this topic:

Then make it clear that the Vatican is subordinate to the God-selected Divine Lawgiving Emporer.

Italy, France, Germany, Spain, etc. etc. The entire formerly “Roman Catholic” Europe, pre-Luther “Roman Catholic” that is, lines up neatly under the power umbrella of American empire, and cheerfully echoed the ever more evil party line of the American establishment all the way.

De facto is western Europe is owned by America, and therefore if we are establishing a state church, and have a need to smash the Vatican anyway, I don’t see why we don’t formalize the relationship as it is and has to be.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

Catholic means, basically, universal. Declaring yourself to be the catholic church is declaring yourself to be the one true church.

Jim says:

Peace of Westphalia is that the faith of land is the faith of the King, and the enemy faiths are tolerated, but tolerated outside of power and influence. If you adhere to a faith different from that of the King, you cannot get a higher level job in state or quasi state institutions, nor in many private institutions.

At the time in was analogous to the deal Russia is attempting to obtain — that Russian minorities and pluralities outside of Russia are tolerated and allowed to remain Russian. And putting too much heat on enemy faiths was apt to have consequences similar to what we are now seeing with Nato applying too much heat against Russian minorities. The deal that Russia patiently sought was that Ukraine could be Ukrainian, but Russians in Ukraine could remain Russian. Did not work out, so we are going to have ethnic cleansing, and Russians would rather someone else was cleansed.

Anonymous Fake says:

[*deleted, yet again*]

Jim says:

You are, as always, arguing for the supremacy of Church over State. We have had a lot of experience with this system, and this is the system that we have right now. Trumps fight with judges is a fight with the Church.

The Cominator says:

Why would we want any part of the Roman Catholic Church of jesuitical globalist faggotry?

FrankNorman says:

Fidelis thinks his side can just impose it on you, and that what you want does not matter.

In practical terms, the changes and reforms needed to Roman Catholicism to make it suitable as a unifying religion for the Americans would be so extensive that one might as well start with a different template to begin with.

Maybe Jim has the right idea, or at least a better attempt at it, with making a “Church of America” based on old-school Anglicanism. (As in: Book of Common Prayer, and the 39 Articles type Anglicanism, not the modern crazy “everyone should love LGBTs and all white people should give everything away to non-whites” version. )
But this would need a means of bringing old-school Anglicanism back from the dead.

Big Brutha says:

Protestants can’t agree among themselves what constitutes the legitimate doctrine, form, or function of a church.

If you are going to have a national church, then you have to settle those issues among the competing views of Protestants (which seems nigh impossible) or, as Fidelis notes, pick a church that has.

Of course, picking something like the Roman Catholic Church and transmuting it into a national church subordinated to a sovereign would be nigh unto impossible also.

You could try to cook one up from scratch by an appeal to the Bible but that gets you right back where you started with trying to get Protestants to agree among themselves.

So you are essentially stuck with Constantine’s problem.

RedBible says:

Hear me out.

We don’t need the Holy National American Church is dictate every little detail. Our current State religion didn’t dictate every little issue for most of its history, but it did get all the churches to go along with what it said.

The Holy National American Church needs to have certain matters be what it declares as absolute, but other matters can be left to the congregations and minor churches.

Big Brutha says:

Look, I am sympathetic to that approach. But you have to get them to agree on WHICH items it is going to dictate and which ones are going to be left to the congregations. I mean, one of the issues of the English Civil War was precisely who was going to call the shots and about what. Was it going to be the bishops (Archbishop Laud’s position) the elders (the Presbyterian position) or the congregations (the independent Puritan position.) It seems the consensus here is for something closer to Laud’s position. Which is fine. But you are not going to get the Protestant groups that descend from either of the other positions to sign up for that.

Jim says:

If no Bishop, then no King.

The most successful implementation of Christianity was Established Anglicanism from 1660 to the early 1800s. I propose we do what worked.

Fidelis says:

Fidelis thinks his side can just impose it on you, and that what you want does not matter.

I am only on the side of Truth and Justice. I’ve just come to realize in the absence of formal priestly hierarchy tied in to the natural prestige hierarchy of the living divine king on earth, you get insane leftism. Protestantism has in it’s very name the seeds of insane leftism. When you accept that name, you accept an identity of eternal protest like the jews. If protestant, forever left leaning and having spirals into madness. Needs to be national, the Anglican church was national, but still accepted eternal protest in sola scriptura. Sola scriptura only makes sense in a state of protest, because it allows you to say authority is wrong, illegitimate. In Luther’s time, authority was wrong and illegitimate. By the time the anabaptists took over Munich, authority was much needed. Sola scriptura ends in talmudic judaism and being scattered to the winds.

You are stuck in some alternate reality where all your “fellow christians” haven’t been actively trying to replace you alongside the government, and called it good. You are stuck in some alternative reality where it actually matters what you want, and every vote counts. No, we have had several generations of an insane and destructive faith come to be accepted by just about everyone. Turns out most people have no convictions, and if you have power you can do almost anything.

What would happen is, after the snakes are chased out, the pederasts burned, the idols are smashed, and the Vatican and bishoprics filled with good men, the church is now going to be interpeting scripture and old doctrine in a healthy way. It will be clearly healthy and aligned with the instincts of any good man who looks at it. You’re telling me everyone is going to fight this, hate it, live in eternal rebellion because it’s encouraged, not forced, encouraged for all to join the state sanctioned church that happens to be organized in a certain location?

You are stuck in some insane world of normalcy bias. A world where not only does ‘protestantism’ mean something, it’s also good to define yourself to be in eternal rebellion. A world where the evil pope is coming to get you, so much so you jump in anger and terror when someone on the internet suggests gutting the Vatican, making it subordinate to the state, and stuffing it with good men, because you think this is going to take away some important personal identity.

FrankNorman says:

If you change it that much, it’s not really the same thing, is it?

That you used Roman Catholic talking-points as arguments, attacking a strawman “Protestantism” the way they do, is quite a big clue as to what would really be in that Wheaties box.

Fidelis says:

You oy veying about this really makes the case for me that an identity of eternal rebellion just turns you into wandering talmudic jews. Yes, I am seekrit papa servant come to make your kids read latin. Be afraid, I will take away the congolese children you adopted!

There’s no point discussing anything with you, as you never respond to any argument except as a sort of charicature. Go hand out some pamphlets telling kids dinosaurs are fake and africans are just as human, in fact even more human than the white folk. In fact the pope planted the dinosaur bones as he is secretly a darwinist! And he is corrupting all the africans into believing him!

Mossadnik says:

Yeah, once they start denying Darwinian evolution, they’ve obviously become Judeo-Christians, i.e., they deny the Logos because of muh interpretation of Scripture.

Mossadnik says:

Didn’t realize the YEC folks are still around. Hmmm. Generally all the retarded nutters congregate at VD’s asylum, but I guess occasionally some of them slip into this comment section to shill their crap, as if entirely clueless about what NRx even is.

Mossadnik says:

Jim and Scarebucks must be dusting off the ol’ fedoras already, lol. But I think mockery is often just as effective at EVISCERATING the sundry anti-Logos heresies. Well, the scathing humor used to go both ways, but at this point we can literally see Darwinian processes transpiring before our very own eyes, and pretending not to see it is willful blindness deserving of some… comedy.

Bix Nudelmann says:

Yes. Hollywood has proven that “logic, debate and arguments” are for losers.

Winners simply make their enemies look stupid and ugly, and show them always losing in the end. That’s all there is to it.

But to do that you need the media, or at least some of it.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

Sola scriptura only makes sense in a state of protest, because it allows you to say authority is wrong, illegitimate.

I don’t agree with this framing. Try substituting the phrase “sola scriptura” with “the second amendment” and consider where the same logic leads. If the possibility of physical violence is a useful stabilizing element against tyranny then so is the possibility of debate, theological or otherwise.

Yes, sola scriptura carries risks of heresies and schisms, but it’s also the first line of defense against holiness spiraling and eventually kritarchy. The Jews are not following sola scriptura in their holiness spiraling; they are doing the opposite, doing what modern judges are doing with the U.S. constitution, finding penumbras and emanations that are clearly not in the text yet somehow far more important and pure than anything in the text.

And in a sense, sola scriptura is just basic literacy. When you have an actual bible, and the laymen can actually read it, then widespread expectation of adhering to the text is simply an outcome you are going to have – unless you want to travel back in time to the days before the printing press, and have a state religion dependent on no one but the high priest knowing what the scripture actually says. If everyone knows what the scripture says, then there is always going to be a segment who won’t tolerate “innovation”. There already is today with the laity of the Catholic church, where a large and growing sect says they’re not bound to obey a heretical pope, and how do you know if the pope is a heretic?

I think you’re conflating the principle with antinomianism, or maybe the protestant idea of “grace”, which are indeed huge problems that need to be rooted out and carefully guarded against by any state religion. But the principle that priests are supposed to follow what’s in the text and not just make shit up as they go along and call it a “new tradition”, that is totally sound. To the extent it’s weaponizable – well, we don’t simply destroy all our weapons in peacetime, because peace doesn’t last forever, peace needs to be maintained, and you maintain peace partly by having an effective deterrent to further war.

By the way, I am not saying I’m against church hierarchy. I simply don’t think it’s mutually exclusive or incompatible with the principle of sola scriptura, which members of the hypothetical hierarchy should be following themselves. It’s not much different from having a manager or CO whose directives you are expected to follow, yet also having a set of laws and regulations and a code of conduct specifying when you must refuse and report said manager. In a priestly hierarchy, the scripture is that code; it’s as much a tool for the priests themselves as it is for the laymen, if not more so.

Jim says:

> I think you’re conflating the principle with antinomianism, or maybe the protestant idea of “grace”, which are indeed huge problems that need to be rooted out and carefully guarded against by any state religion.

Grace is a problem because it is very close to the antinomian heresy, and it is hard to tell the difference. Holyness spiral grace a tiny bit, and you get antinomianism. But antinomianism has not been a problem for a while. There are no antinomian Churches and never have been. It is only a problem in that every now and then you have to purge an antinomian pastor.

These days, they don’t purge anyone, but I don’t see a substantial antinomian heresy.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

There are no antinomian Churches and never have been.

Perhaps because antinomianism is essentially indistinguishable from secularism, and once a church goes secular, it ceases to be a church in the formal sense.

I don’t think it’s a stretch to describe Harvard as an antinomian church… or rather, the antinomian church, because envy and spite know no borders.

Jim says:

> Protestantism has in it’s very name the seeds of insane leftism. When you accept that name, you accept an identity of eternal protest like the jews.

What they were protesting is that the Papacy was heretical. It was heretical. It is today not merely heretical, but demon worshipping. This was a just revolt.

Fidelis says:

It was indeed a just protest. However, they are defining themselves as eternal protesters when they decide to continue apace as “protestant.” What is now the Eastern Orthodox Church split long before the Germanic princes, they are not protestant. They aren’t in protest of what is called the Catholic church. They feel justified enough in their basis of metaphysical reality to say that they are Orthodox — traditional, conventional.

The Roman Catholics let up a bit but never truly reformed. The protestants stopped waging hot war against the Pope but continue to define themselves on a deep level as protesters of the injustices of that time. Words and names matter, and being in protest for nearly 500 years should make one reconsider one’s actual basis. The protestants are ever quick to dip into and out of heresies of various kinds, and ever quick to define themselves in opposition of the states that host them. We are dealing with post-Christian post-English protestants now. I am suggesting that the name implies a natural tendency to protesting authority, and that we have seen a natural tendency of protesting authority.

Jim says:

The current left arose from Protestantism, and all the way to the 1950s, its identity was “We are more protestant than thou, because we are still protesting, and the rest of the protestants are not”.

But the rest of the protestants were not.

But the previous lefts did not arise from Protestantism. The Church of Reason was descended from the false Popes of Avignon.

So calling oneself “Protestant” does not necessarily result in never ending protest. Luther and Cromwell cracked down hard on those guys. The current left identifies with the people Cromwell and Luther successfully suppressed, and who stayed suppressed for centuries.

And not calling oneself “Protestant” does not prevent endless march to the next applecart.

The Cominator says:

Catholic identity is bound up with faggotry, Ishtar worship (the church needs to preach that the feminine is wicked subversive inferior and must serve), celibacy (redundant with faggoty), subversion and internationalism. We don’t want any part of it. Even if we do impose something like Anglicanism it should be the Calvinist anti Catholic Anglicanism of Elizabeth I and James I before the Jesuit Laud.

Jim says:

One of the things I like about the Anglicanism of Charles the Second, the Anglicanism of the thirty nine articles, is that he had to end a holiness spiral, resulting in the thirty nine articles, which were for a long time a bulwark against holiness spiralling. A bulwark which Elizabeth I and James I lacked, having ditched the thirty seven articles, a medieval bulwark against holiness spiralling.

Of course he did not exactly end the holiness spiral — just exiled it to America, resulting in the disaster we now face. But it worked for a while.

The Cominator says:

Was there a holiness spiral under James I? Puritan radicals seemed to be very very unpopular people prior to Laud.

Jim says:

There was an out of power holiness spiral seeking power on grounds of superior holiness. And because they were seeking power, they were very very unpopular among those that had power.

Shakespeare’s company was “The Kings Men”, and it would appear that as in Shakespeare’s plays within a play, the King in real life was apt to make certain additions to the script. Likely Shakespeare’s unkind reference to Brownists was the King sticking his oar in.

You really need an authoritative statement in Church doctrine that they are not holy. Hence the thirty seven articles and the thirty nine articles.

After the King took over the Globe theater, Shakespeare started writing about Kings and aristocrats, and the plots often contained points that were on the mind of the King. So likely Brownists were on the mind of the King.

The Cominator says:

The radical puritans prior to Laud just seemed to be hated and radioactive to almost everybody you just don’t hear about any protestant opposition to Elizabeth I or James I (though there was a limited amount of bitching about James having favorites and being not a trueborn Englishmen, with Elizabeth there is not even any real bitching about her being a woman even) among primary sources, they were probably sort of like Antifa was today spiteful mutants who took pride in their outcastness as a sign of superior holiness. They only got their opening with Laud’s Jesuit Arminian takeover which rightly alarmed a lot of people.

Fidelis says:

We have to burn the snakes nest anyway, I thought it would be poetic to then use the nice buildings and branding as a starting point for the state church. I’m not suggesting we keep any of the hierarchy.

When we roll tanks into Harvard, we probably aren’t going to burn the building down. We likely won’t be firing every single professor (out of a cannon, into the sun), I’m sure there’s a former soviet jew or two that’s quietly advancing some corner of mathematics, has no interest in ideology, and we should let them continue. We’ll instead have trials for the very real crimes of the administration at the top, and then insert Pauline criterion men to organize the place as they see fit. They can keep the crimson and ‘veritas’ branding, why not. Similarly, when we have the Patriarch in place of the former papa, they can keep the swiss guard.

I am not sure why anyone would assume that I want to keep the original faggot pederast infested organization intact in any way. I am saying it needs to be destroyed anyway, and American empire needs a state church anyway, and how aesthetic would it be if we just handled it all by using the old branding.

Big Brutha says:

The issue is getting people to understand that the Wheaties box, despite the name, longer contains Wheaties. New wine and old bottles, I think, is the phrase.

Fidelis says:

That will become rather obvious when the new Patriarch is called the Patriarch, and has a dozen healthy happy children with his humble and obedient wife.

To be clear, I am advancing this line of discussion as “haha only serious.” I’m tying together a bunch of threads:
– the papacy has been a problem for centuries, and now is full of idol worshippers, needs fire and steel
– Europe is in deep trouble, is basically our civilization, and we shouldn’t leave them to figure things out, at least not without a thumb booted foot on the scale favoring healthy rulership
– Leftism doesn’t end until officially unofficial becomes officially official state faith, with everyone clearly acknowledging the state faith, and that state faith should be run by healthy and sane men with direct stake in the future

Then had the image pop into my minds eye of a pro-civilization takeover of the vatican; the absolute seething convulsions the faggots and leftists would go through, and the very beautiful parades and events we could have.

FrankNorman says:

>I am not sure why anyone would assume that I want to keep the original faggot pederast infested organization intact in any way.

Are you willing to clearly affirm that you don’t?

>I am saying it needs to be destroyed anyway,

It does. Roma Delanda Est.

>and American empire needs a state church anyway,

Does it? And does there need to be such a thing as an “American empire”?

>and how aesthetic would it be if we just handled it all by using the old branding.
Why? Do you believe the “American Empire” should be something universal and world-encompasing, the way the old Roman Empire pretended to be?

What the American people need is different from what you are try to sell here.

Fidelis says:

I have already repeated myself on all of these points, read my other comments. Or don’t. You are looking for a boogeyman that doesn’t exist. I have seen you repeatedly refuse to engage with discussion elsewhere, on other topics, and you repeat that pattern here, so I am uninterested in putting effort to clarify anything to you in particular.

FrankNorman says:

So now it’s ad hominem time, huh?

I think you are the one who is ignoring arguments against your position here.
And making some rather ridiculous assumptions about where people who disagree with you are coming from.

Fidelis says:

If me repeating five times over that we are smashing everything related to old “Roman Catholicism” did not work before, it will not work if I repeat myself yet again. You are not responsive, and there is no point trying to hold a discussion with you.

If you would kindly point out the colloquial name of the particular belief set you subscribe to — Baptist? — I will provide evidence of their malicious intent to replace their adherents through genocidal rhetoric and action. Which you are ignoring in order to be mad at the other people in your same boat, slated for death by an insane cult, because they like a different church organization.

FrankNorman says:

Name the denomination and you’ll tell me something bad about it?

I will rather tell you some things that I am not:

I am not an American.
I am, incidentally, not a Baptist.
I don’t deny that dinosaurs existed.

White people should be having children of their own, not adopting other peoples’. And black people should be raising their children themselves, not trying to foist them on other people!

Fidelis says:

Having decided you are unresponsive, I figured the only productive direction the conversation could go involved me showcasing the foolishness and hypocrisy of complaining about one demon infested church denomination and not another. It’s like arguing about football teams as you’re tied up and about to be executed by machete.

Jim says:

If the state faith holds that the Christian Church should have one bureaucracy of mortals at its head in one city, it is inherently hostile to the peace of Westphalia. Not a good idea in the age of nukes.

Fidelis says:

I’m saying that the American Empire is really the empire of Western Civilization, and that the nations with nukes in Western Civilization all are de facto part of the American Empire. Therefore, if we are rectifying the state church for the empire, a good choice — or rather a choice, as I just found the idea amusing and symbolic, without putting an intense depth of thought into it — is to put it atop the ashes of the Vatican after some application of fire and steel.

What I am explicitly *not* suggesting is a Crusade to incorporate the entire world into the state church. I am not even suggesting a Crusade to incorporate the population of the lower 48 into the state church. That would be incredibly foolish. I am suggesting, in a “ha ha only serious” way, that you simply incorporate the state church in Rome. Why? Because it would symbolically unite the unofficial empire into a more official empire, and it would send the message of priests as agents of kings, and not the other way around, in a maximally symbolic manner. All while thoroughly extinguishing a thousand years of faggot priest entryist theology.

Jim says:

> What I am explicitly *not* suggesting is a Crusade to incorporate the entire world into the state church

If we remedy the Vatican with fire and steel, and remove its claim of universal centralised jurisdiction over all Christians anywhere, it is going to look a lot like suppressing it.

A better plan is revive Anglicanism, and converge it to Orthodoxy, so that the protest part of Protestant stays dead, and Anglicanism becomes yet another auto cephalous Orthodox Church.

When Trump is overseas, he preaches Peace of Westphalia

It is crucial for the wider world to note that this great transformation has not come from Western intervention or flying people in on beautiful planes, giving you lectures on how to live and govern your own affairs. No! The gleaming marvels of Riyadh and other places were not created by the nation-builders or liberal nonprofits like those who spent trillions of dollars failing to develop Kabul, Baghdad and so many other cities.

Instead, the birth of a modern Middle East has been brought by the people of the region themselves—the people who are right here, who have lived here all your lives, developing your own sovereign countries, pursuing your own unique visions, and charting your own destinies in your own way. It is incredible what you have done.

In the end, the so-called nation-builders wrecked far more nations than they built, and the interventionists were intervening in comple `x societies that they didn’t understand themselves. They told you how to do it, but they had no idea how to do it themselves.

Peace, prosperity, and progress came not from a radical rejection of your heritage but rather from embracing your national traditions and that same heritage you love so dearly.

He had probably prepared these lines, though not necessarily for this particular speech, for the speech as a whole was given extempore, so we can be pretty sure the speech was the real Trump.

Within America, he is imperial, but preaches the Empire of the Ocean Lands, empire within the natural borders.

And so we need a state religion that does not justify empire — which Orthodoxy, with a tradition of autocephaly going back to the apostles, does not.

Bix Nudelmann says:

As for re-skin-suiting Harvard, yes of course, that goes back for millennia. Same buildings, same status, different leadership and different “values”.

Oxford is still in business after all, and they’ve been through this plenty of times.

Most professors are status-seeking weaklings, living in fear. The Greengrocerest of Greengrocers. Just one or two examples made and whoop we’re done. As for the administration offices, none of them do anything anyway and they can all make donuts instead.

By the way, even Tim Pool has been rocking the “and wear it was a skin suit” concept for years now. It’s out there.

dharmicreality says:

In re: the reality and human ability to apparently create alternative reality.

No matter how much it is argued that man can make any reality in his mind real is foolish and retarded. That there is no reality outside of natural creation is obvious to all of us and the wild imaginations of a fevered mind or social construction can never create an alternate reality outside the mind of the subject. And even those wild imaginations will be based on something extant in reality even if it is distorted or exaggerated.

Arguing with people who argue that reality is unreal at their whims and fancies and any imagination or arbitrary classification made up in the mind can replace reality is a waste of time, because these are the very same people who claim to be so-oppressed when they are busy oppressing and suppressing you and these are the people who claim that everything is socially constructed, women are men and men are women, there are 10140283823 different sexes, and no natural categories of anything exist, so material existence is a waste and we should all lie down and die.

FrankNorman says:

> and no natural categories of anything exist, so material existence is a waste and we should all lie down and die.

Well then why don’t they do that?

What they really hope to do, obviously, is persuade other people to lie down and die. In their hunter-gather logic, that would mean more resources for themselves, or something.

Mossadnik says:

Well then why don’t they do that?

Given the relatively high suicide rates and overall reproductive failure among gnostic deviant libtards, that’s precisely what they do – every Antifa is deeply mentally ill. While still alive, however, their passion is trying to drag everyone else down into the bottomless pit with them (due to their bifurcated brains, they may not be able to realize that it’s what they are doing, but that’s precisely what it is); their whole ideologies are rationalizations of that. But ultimately they desire their own deaths as well, and usually die miserably and prematurely.

Bix Nudelmann says:

In Indonesia, I think it is, they have this word “amok”, as in “run amok”, where when a guy has lost everything, and has no worldly hope left for pussy or respect, he just snaps and goes off. Chopping up people, breaking windows, burning down houses, etc. Indo-chimping, I guess you can say.

Roll 100 for 100. Usually the community has to kick his ass or put him down, but every once in a while he comes out on top, so why the hell not.

Antifa must be “White Amok”, if you will, a higher-IQ version with a lot more fancy concepts and sanctimonious bumper stickers on it.

Mossadnik says:

I think the equivalent of that would be those WN-associated mass shooters who “screw your optics, I’m going in” – with them, I can sympathize. It’s a failure mode of the Right.

Antifa terrorists with balaclavas who burn the streets down, on the other hand, are just leftists (not always white) with some minimal vestige of testosterone and not enough IQ/competence to do anything particularly academic or journalistic or bureaucratic, so they become mob-activists 4-Life.

Jim says:

Not so. Antifa leadership runs things from mansions, and is intimately connected to Harvard. Their foot soldiers have testosterone, just as Azov does, but the leadership is the usual girly boy leftist leadership.

Mossadnik says:

Yes, should differentiate between the foot soldiers with room temperature IQs (invariably spiteful mutants, often racially mixed) and the leadership stratum, which is merely idiotic but not outright retarded, and which is embedded within the GAE and GAE-in-exile networks.

This entire Harvard network needs to be uprooted if there is to be any Restoration outside the US proper; or else those other GAE-occupied countries, e.g. Britain, will keep collapsing. A successful regime change in America should ideally be followed by the global elimination of globohomo itself, entailing regime changes all over Europe and the rest of the world.

It’s possible that Trump junior will seek the Presidency to continue his father’s good start.

Mossadnik says:

“White Amok” would be Dylann Roof.

Antifas are spiritually leftists doing typical leftist violence for typically leftist reasons or, to be precise, impulses. They want everyone dead and everything destroyed, including themselves.

Mossadnik says:

When the FBI plants show up here, they attempt to lure the “White Amok” types into committing destructive (and ultimately self-destructive) violence, since the FBI plants look to harm and neutralize the Right, and mass shooters inspired by Nazism (or by any other Right-associated ideology/community, whether or not it is truly right-wing) are a failure mode they seek to exploit for that purpose.

An Antifa terrorist is just a low-functioning version of your leftist professor; and sometimes indeed the Antifa terrorist is your leftist professor.

Karl says:

Would you say that what Anders Breivik did was amok?

Mossadnik says:

It was a form of amok, in a sense, but the actual plan was executed so well that it achieved some of its intended results. Generally that does not happen and the amok causes more harm than good, but Breivik was relatively competent (and had the right targets) so it ended up as a partial success.

Imagine if, instead of posting on Jim’s Blog, I would show up at a random Mosque and slaughter a bunch of Palestinians. That would be Israeli amok. Violence should ideally be organized and have a proper aim, or else it’s (usually) counterproductive.

Mossadnik says:

If you’re living under a hostile (and still powerful) regime, you should ask yourself, “How can I make this regime weaker rather than stronger?” Generally speaking, killing a bunch of uninvolved people will not make the regime any weaker.

Breivik, however, was somewhat effective precisely because his targets were would-be regime apparatchiks. I write “somewhat” because ultimately what matters is that Norwegians ceased reproducing and in a few short decades will no longer exist; but if we narrow down and zoom in our perspective to the near present, then yes, offing all those commies probably made the hostile regime weaker rather than stronger (hence it was a good thing), so Breivik’s well-executed plan, in particular, was not counterproductive.

Unlike Moldbug, I don’t entirely dismiss the efficacy of right-wing violence. But to ensure that the regime is made weaker rather than stronger, you should know exactly what you are doing. Most amok-ists are acting on impulse and their “plans” are shit, so their violence tends to be counterproductive.

Mossadnik says:

If he had entered a random Mosque and turned some Mohammedans into shawarma, that would not have achieved all that much. It’s precisely because he effectively struck the regime itself — a decapitation strike, if you will — that he made the regime somewhat weaker, by depriving it of some valuable loyalists/assets, that is, commie death cultists. But here we are in 2025, and Norway is as GAE-occupied as ever. Breivik is possibly the most effective amokist in recent history; and yet his amokism didn’t significantly change anything. So a better strategy is advisable, unless the regime in question is legitimately tottering and you can collapse it for good. No European regime is currently in that spot, so I don’t advocate right-wing violence in this particular point in time, though obviously the only good commie is a dead one. It would be better if the ideas of NRx could be translated and transmitted to whatever red-blooded military-age Norwegian men still remain there. But realistically that country is gone and that ethnicity will perish. If nothing drastic happens in the meantime, then in a few decades “Norway” will just be some Muslim niggers scavenging for human leftovers. I always wonder if the local population truly grasps what’s coming for it.

Mossadnik says:

A nation is its people, and if those people aren’t breeding, and are just growing older while distracted by TV shows and such, then at some point that nation ceases to exist. With its current median age and TFR, and under the current hostile regime, it will likely just keep importing ever more people from elsewhere. Perhaps they won’t all be 70 IQ niggers straight off Africa, but more competent people who can maintain basic, minimal civilizational functions. But the nation itself is still gone, and ethnic Norwegians, if they aren’t all slaughtered, will be a tiny and shrinking minority among an ocean of brown mystery-meat foreigners. Going amok is unlikely to affect that; what is needed is regime change, and likely a worldwide defeat of globohomo and full-on Restoration. The lurkers in high places should take that into account.

Bix Nudelmann says:

Good distinction. “Amok” has no team. “Amok” is all alone.

Antifa has a team.

I still think I’m looking at the same seed of spiteful discontent, but you’re right, there’s entirely different “social technology” at work here. Catalyzing into entirely different directions, but winding up in the same place.

Turns out the “experts” are actually just upright-walking apes like the rest of us, prone to ignorance and error and malice and demonism and a gorillion different biases and conflicts-of-interest, and should not in fact be “trusted” blindly, or at all.

Jim says:

The jab always causes myocarditis, generally “sub clinical” myocarditis because “subclinical” was defined upwards.

Therefore no one with with hereditary myopathy should have been given the jab. That the shot was going to kill Yarvin’s wife was completely predictable. This outcome was predictable at the time, just no one was allowed to predict it. They murdered her.

Alf says:

Very much torn between saying “you absolute idiot how could you have let them jab her” and “that is incredibly sad.” Though no doubt he thinks the former to himself all the time. May God forgive us our mistakes.

“A better plan is revive Anglicanism, and converge it to Orthodoxy, so that the protest part of Protestant stays dead, and Anglicanism becomes yet another auto cephalous Orthodox Church.”

I’d love to see this idea expanded on, if there is anything more to say. I’ve had this view for some time, but not so well worded. I do think there is a path which matches the historical strengths of each in union.

Besides my own interest rooted in your posts on the faith leading me to Orthodoxy, I do believe you could cut through the noise of the somewhat regular Protestant v. Catholic arguments here.

revive Anglicanism, and converge it to Orthodoxy, so that the protest part of Protestant stays dead

This was quite an active program back in the 1920s, and there is more material than you could ever wade through at https://anglicanhistory.org/orthodoxy/index.html

If you were going to read only one book that captures the spirit of the times well, I would recommend “The Eastern Church in the Western World” by Emhardt, 1928.

But my sense of the history is that the Anglicans who the Orthodox had the most dealings with were the less Protestant sort, and the realization that they represented only a minority of Anglicans meant that serious efforts at union petered out. And of course, the ordination of women changed the tenor of the relationship between the churches completely. The most lasting effect of the 1920s is the establishment of Western Rite parishes in some Orthodox dioceses.

Neocon scumbag J.D. Vance spouting nonsense about “Putin” .

“putin doesn’t know how to get out of the war”
“putin has no strategy to unwind the war”
All Russian factories are producing weapons – “Putin” “can’t stop that”. “Putin bad”.

So it’s been four months since wannabe Emperor Trump said he would end the war before being inaugurated, in one day, in 3 month bla bla bla.

In reality Trump and accomplices keep executing the neocon plan to a tee.

c4ssidy says:

JD is correct, warming up a war machine, escalating into a hot war, is a high inertia high investment, the sacrifice of lives to get there is a high investment, and it isn’t practical to tone that down willynilly without getting something in return for what you spent (chunks of land, demilitarized Ukraine, etc) otherwise you’d be betraying the collective sacrifice of your country, so there is not practically a way to unwind the war, other than finishing the grind

>>”So it’s been four months since wannabe Emperor Trump said he would end the war before being inaugurated”

the idea is that you look at the current situation, extrapolate, predict the end state, and concede the war goals in advance of the end state. A settlement obviously would require concession of war goals. Zelensky considers giving up territory, demilitarisation etc, non-negotiable. If he is not a rational actor, there is no negotiation to be had, no concession, and no end to the war until it concludes. It is not Trump’s fault if he failed to make a deal between two parties when one is irrational

>>In reality Trump and accomplices keep executing the neocon plan to a tee.

Escalation would mean feeding in Poles and Romanians into Western Ukraine while continually upping American spending and ‘advisors’, quite the opposite of JD’s ‘no deal, walk away, let the grind finish’

Big Brutha says:

What the Russians are not going to do is agree to a ceasefire that allows NATO troops to come flooding in subsequent to that agreement to reinforce Ukrainian positions and to try to make this
into a frozen conflict. So, the Russians either get an upfront agreement on that point or the Russians are going keep grinding away until it doesn’t matter anymore.

Big Brutha says:

Per the announcement of the termination of Harvard University’s student and exchange Visitor program (SEVP) Certification:

As of May 22, no foreign students are allowed to attend Harvard and if they are enrolled there already must transfer schools or lose their legal status in country. Currently around 27% of their student body is foreigners. That is interesting because it means more than a quarter of the student body is right now running around looking for spots elsewhere. It will be interesting to see how many can find one. This seems like a pretty big blow to Harvard’s prestige and global reach.
